Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
Is there an anti-Eshap script in place, or am I just coming at the wrong time? The IRC is dead every time I visit.

No, it's always dead. We have a skype group now so there isn't much point in this. And the skype group is pretty good to keep out random people.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
And I was never invited? >:I
Jk. I'm not that active anyways. Pity about the IRC, though.

Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
I was in the RPC Skype group, but then I left and never used Skype again.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
I should be more active on Skype but I rarely used it this and last week

I left because I got annoyed at the seemingly constant file upload notifications, which Skype doesn't let you turn off for some reason.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
You CAN turn it off and Adsolution pointed it out before.technology4617 wrote:I left because I got annoyed at the seemingly constant file upload notifications, which Skype doesn't let you turn off for some reason.
I totally forgot about that. I can put you back if nobody disagrees. I never meant to perma-kick you.Imco97 wrote:I was in the RPC Skype group, but got kicked out for being way too active

Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
I recall getting upload notifications at least twice a day, and I got very sick of hunting around in there for whatever happened to make it count as read.OldClassicGamer wrote:LOL, people rarely upload there.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
What Skype version you had? For me it goes automatically on first unread part.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
Groupme is pretty cool too. You guys should add me to the chat. My skype is neokrw.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
Same thing here, it was annoying since I could not disable that. The conversations were going too random and the interest in participating in the group dropped as a consequence.technology4617 wrote:I left because I got annoyed at the seemingly constant file upload notifications, which Skype doesn't let you turn off for some reason.

Literally 50% of the forums already.Haruka wrote: The conversations were going too random

I agree with you Rayfist.
Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
I left the skype because it was too hard to catch up every day, and none of the conversations interested me that much.
But I still drop by the IRC every few weeks to keep by nickname registered.

Re: Rayman PC IRC (group-chat instant-messenging)
Except I'm on right now and it's fucking dead. I'd rather the skype group, while they're horrendously off topic it's at least active. Though I rarely visit, like I said it's often really off topic but very occasionally we'll get a few cool peeps. A good chunk of the people in that chat don't even visit RPC anymore so I don't know why they're still part of the group. Besides... it's not much different from RPC and the way people act... just not to this extent.THEdragon wrote:I left the skype because it was too hard to catch up every day, and none of the conversations interested me that much.

I'm almost always idling on IRC if anyone would like to join.

We need a discord. I use Discord all the time and I now believe this shall now be part of my life.
