I like the idea, though in the short term I'll just accommodate one side. Any other opinions?

Should be good now.

I especially enjoy the messages pop-up in forums instead of redirecting to a new page. So much gained time!
Also the spoiler balise. YES. YEEEEES! *0* They're also so fancy omg.
Thank you.

I'm okay with them as they are right now, I don't care if it's short term.

What's the difference between "Subscribed" and "Bookmarked"? They both seem to notify you when someone replies but nothing else

Edit: Just found a little oversight, in the mobile view on the home page if you tap "show menu" the RSS link is still there and it just takes you to a page full of text.

Also in case anyone does what a desktop view on mobile, you can use this script
javascript:var%20w=1536;var%20v=null;var%20m=document.getElementsByTagName(%22meta%22);for(var%20i=0;i%3Cm.length;i++)if(m%5Bi%5D.name%20==%20%22viewport%22)v=m%5Bi%5D;if(v%20!=%20null)v.parentNode.removeChild(v);v=document.createElement(%22meta%22);v.setAttribute(%22name%22,%22viewport%22);v.setAttribute(%22content%22,%20%22width=%22+w);document.getElementsByTagName(%22head%22)%5B0%5D.appendChild(v);
To activate scripts on most mobiles you have to save them as a bookmark link and tap the bookmark to activate them, so it works like a failsafe desktop view button

Does anyone else feel that the right-hand columns have been unnecessarily squished too far to the right? Two issues I have with this are that I have to swing my eyes further back and forth to be able to see what's what, and arguably more importantly, it causes a lot of thread titles to be cut off to a relatively gross extent:

I just don't really see the why they were moved, unless it was unintentional. The column spacing was perfect before.

Also, I apologise for only pointing some of these things out after the site was put up, despite being active in the beta forum. They bothered me back then, and I have no idea why I didn't bring them up when I first noticed them.

Huh, I never really gave it much thought, but now it's been pointed out, yeah, it does feel a bit odd.

Well it will be months before I can do anything else about it as there's many more urgent things for me to work on at the moment.

From our FAQ:

In phpBB 3.0, bookmarking topics worked much like bookmarking in a web browser. You were not alerted when there was an update. As of phpBB 3.1, bookmarking is more like subscribing to a topic. You can be notified when a bookmarked topic is updated. Subscribing, however, will notify you when there is an update to a topic or forum on the board. Notification options for bookmarks and subscriptions can be configured in the User Control Panel, under “Board preferences”.

Looks like your mobile browser can't handle RSS feeds. Do any other feeds work on it?

Good point. It's part of phpBB's mobile theme so I'll have to see what I can reasonably do about it (once again, I'm not rewriting this shit, so I'd rather focus on cool features if it's too much work ).

You're right indeed, I got distracted after a long afternoon of fixing shit bugs and changed that later.

It's mobile safari so I would think so, though I'm not too familiar with RSS. I thought it was an oversight as I thought you had ditched it entirely for the new message feed.

My mobile Safari can't open RSS feeds either, I don't think it's supported.

I did ditch an RSS feed in favor of the last messages feed, but it was the forum feed, not the news feed, which I kept. ;)

Is there any way of making it so the "New Posts" and "Unread Posts" links only search in one forum? When I use them topics from all language forums show up

Apart from the paginated HoF, I just noticed another cool thing: Newlines in occupation/interests fields are now actually rendered as newlines in people's profiles. Thanks for that, it always bugged me! Now I just need to rewrite my profile to take advantage of it…

It's a nice idea, though some users might expect the link to be global (and only then to be able to filter by forum). In the meantime, you can add these links to your favorites:

Some bugs are corrected and some new features implemented, I hope it won't take too much time to Hunch.

Well, I think I've just fixed all the stuff that was reported here. Except for two things, the weird timezone suggestion button and the smiley misalignment on landscape view for some devices, which appear to be phpBB bugs that are likely to be fixed soon. Bug bounties should have been received by those who reported said bugs.

Regarding the resizing of smilies, I've tuned it to only use the nearest-neighbor algorithm for integer pixel densities (dppx). Let me know if still appears blurry or pixelated when it shouldn't.

Oh yeah, and I've still got WLM and the width of the last post column to look into, though work on the next version is probably a higher priority right now.

I don't really know if you can do anything about this, but spoilers are a little buggy when highlighted:

Not really, as I have no control over what highlighting looks like. Interestingly enough, I don't get that non-blurred highlighting around the edges with my version of Chrome.

Thank you! :D They look great everywhere now. It looks like the vertical alignment changed (they've been pushed down a bit?) but that's alright.

The spoiler highlighting looks fine here on Firefox too.

Hunch:

Suggest ability to search for posts isolated by user. (That way I can find your posts in this thread isolated from others)
How about a blog for each member. Or at least fields that can develop our profile a little more. Like an about me or something at least.

That's it for now.
