Re: List of ranks
I'm Irish, but you must realize that that doesn't stop me preferring the Oxford spelling!
Re: List of ranks
My way to speak English always confused my English teachers, it is a mix of American and British.
As well when talking or writing, although my pronunciation remains Brit with a slight touch of Scottish for my pronunciation of the "O", and probably a little bit of Australian.
I wonder how Humch is talking in English though, I heard him singing completely drunk but never speaking English.
Also PluM I never heard any Irish accent, although I readed it had something to do with a strong pronunciation of the "R".

Re: List of ranks
My Os are "Scottish" too, but that's very characteristic of rural Irish speakers too.
Rs? Well, they're a very mixed bag in Ireland. They are "strong" in that most Irish accents are completely and rather emphatically rhotic, in contrast with our neighbours who usually don't pronounce Rs after vowels. But as for how we pronounce our Rs, well, that seems to vary significantly across the country.
I would go into more detail but I really should be studying!

That'd be the influence of my Russian Maths professor I guess.
Re: List of ranks
So in that game, you're pretty much a Giant Dung Beetle, carrying your ball all over the place.
There is strong Wolfenstein, Doom 3 Resident of Evil and Uncharted 3 vibes in that game.
But seriously, you sound a lot like Artyom's english dubber in Metro 2033, I think you'd like that game

Well yeah, except that the ball was built by aliens hundreds of years ago.incognito wrote:So in that game, you're pretty much a Giant Dung Beetle, carrying your ball all over the place.
Interesting, and thanks for the recommendation. Actually I sound a lot like my father. But the voice in my head sounds more like Emma de Caunes in BG&E.But seriously, you sound a lot like Artyom's english dubber in Metro 2033, I think you'd like that game

One does not prevent the other ! It could've been built by Giant Alien Dung Beetles that later inspired Egyptians for their Hieroglyphs and Pyramids !PluMGMK wrote:Well yeah, except that the ball was built by aliens hundreds of years ago.incognito wrote:So in that game, you're pretty much a Giant Dung Beetle, carrying your ball all over the place.
MIND BLOWN.
You're welcome, it rapidly became one of my favorites video-games for the depth of the scenario (although you'll have to be patient to be aware of it)PluMGMK wrote:Interesting, and thanks for the recommendation. But seriously, you sound a lot like Artyom's english dubber in Metro 2033, I think you'd like that game
ROFL, I sometimes imitate her father's characters when I talk, especially Didier l'embrouille.PluMGMK wrote:Actually I sound a lot like my father. But the voice in my head sounds more like Emma de Caunes in BG&E.
I never new she acted in BG&E actually !
My mature self sounds like Nolan North, so I guess were both a bit strange.

Re: List of ranks
Well you see one of the aliens in the game, he doesn't really look like a giant dung beetle. However, the sequel reveals that those aliens got the design from even more ancient and mysterious aliens, so it's not ruled out!

Giant dung beetles, is that what you're calling black people? Cause they built them pyramids (and they used to fly).incognito wrote:One does not prevent the other ! It could've been built by Giant Alien Dung Beetles that later inspired Egyptians for their Hieroglyphs and Pyramids !

And here I was thinking that flying pyramids were the doing of the Illuminati.

Which means black people could be linked to the Illuminati.
