Re: Rayman Classic
I am sure it won't. I reported this twice in their facebook page and they are completely indifferent.

Re: Rayman Classic
This version of the game is crap the DSi version is so much better then this crap version because the controls are stupid ****** controls that made me go back to two lives! And how do I use controllers in the game because on the Ubisoft site it says you can do it but it does not tell me how to configure the controls crap version if this was a review I would rate this game 1/10 the other versions were better

Re: Rayman Classic
The controls can be a definite pain, used the touch controls on the iOS version to give me a challenge, and it sure did. When I finished 100%, I ended up with 37 lives left, and in the PlayStation version, I usually end up with around 90 lives. Dang that's 53 more lost lives. Sorry Rayman

I still don't understand what everyone's complaining about here... The controls are fine, much better than Rayman 2 on the iPhone. I've already beaten it several times with no issues. I mean, how did you expect them to be? There's no real way to have any better controls on a touch screen.

Re: Rayman Classic
Agreed. I started to get the hang of it after Anguish Lagoon, it wasn't really that difficult for the most part. Then again, if some people can't beat R1 on PlayStation/PC, then they ain't gonna beat it on mobile.Carrot-master wrote:I still don't understand what everyone's complaining about here... Re: Rayman Classic
I'd almost say it's the other way around, considering you can now play with unlimited lives without cheating. Though it all depends on the players skills with the controls I guess. Personally I feel the touch controls are done very well for several reasons. Like the analog stick isn't stuck on one spot (like Rayman 2) but shows up where ever you put your finger. And then it's the different game modes which is a great way to let the player choose their difficulty if they're having trouble with the controls.Ray502 wrote:Then again, if some people can't beat R1 on PlayStation/PC, then they ain't gonna beat it on mobile.

Re: Rayman Classic
Well I'm playing the game on original mode but it's just that I really can't get the hang of the touch controls. I can finish Rayman 1 on PC/PS1 just fine but with these controls are just really hard for me. And that's why I want the android version to have controller support, which it doesn't have at the moment.

Re: Rayman Classic
I'm not sure why people have so much trouble with touch controls; I think the game controls fine. There's actually a pretty serious bug with pressing a direction and jumping together at a certain time causing it to frequently not even register, but the idea itself is good.

Re: Rayman Classic
In all honesty, I seem to struggle with touch controls in general, I ended up giving up with Rayman Adventures because of the amount of inadvertent deaths I had.

Re: Rayman Classic
Alright, I'm kind of getting the hang of the controls, but does anybody else have a sound problem where the sounds that should be looping, don't loop at all? Like the fist charging etc.

Same here. That might just be the game itself.CHRdutch wrote:Alright, I'm kind of getting the hang of the controls, but does anybody else have a sound problem where the sounds that should be looping, don't loop at all? Like the fist charging etc.
Re: Rayman Classic
Yes, as I've mentioned before, the repeating sound effects (charging fist, helicopter, plum on water etc.) don't loop properly. There's a bunch of other sound issues as well, such as the bonus music not always playing correctly and the Mr. Dark theme not playing at all. Also, good luck with the Breakout minigame if you reach it. It is near impossible in this version do to an annoying bug.Ray502 wrote:Same here. Re: Rayman Classic
Ah yes, was disappointed when the final battle song wasn't playing, since it's the best boss battle song in R1. As for the breakout minigame, I've already have given up on it. After like 30 seconds I lost all the triesCarrot-master wrote:Yes, as I've mentioned before, the repeating sound effects (charging fist, helicopter, plum on water etc.) don't loop properly. Re: Rayman Classic
I kind of regret doing so myself. Especially considering all of the sales (90% off) and that it's now free... Luckily I don't have any ads now since I payed for it before it went free.
