I concur, Crash Road was a pain attempting to get both the crystal and gem in one trip, which I hate in going back in levels like that just to get a gem/relic. Those motorcycle levels were basically the same darn level, just a different part of day with some more bottomless pits and boxes.Rayfist wrote:(only difference is some of the vehicle levels in Warped were actually fun)
Agreed. Although Wizards and Lizards was pretty good, it had a combination of the snow chases from Cortex Strikes Back, with the medieval aspect of Warped, though this time it was inside instead of outside like Warped.Rayfist wrote: the similar time themed aspect in some levels of traveling to medieval times, to prehistoric era.
And where else though do you want Crash to go? Mars to spin off machine rovers and aliens with 10 eyes humping on Nitro boxes? A Cortex lair with shooting machine guns? What about on a deserted beach in daytime with a woman with nice, big, bags of ice for his head? (sorry had to go there).
Though now that I think of it, the PS2 graphic enhancement is what fooled me a bit on the ripoff of Warped, played the first 10 levels of WoC earlier and there's already too much of using a vehicle/flying thing. And personally, and I'm not trying to be sexist here, but I think the Coco levels are boring. They tried to have a level or two of her not using something to ride on, but they couldn't resist like her first level only. It's not the same excitement as it is playing Crash, since he can have more powers than Coco, and don't need a fricking scooter to avoid a gigantic wave. Heck, Crash avoided from a rolling stone, a big snowball, an angry polar bear, and a dragon using his running shoes.
