Re: The You Game!
Today's been quite educational, <'s been having a nice fight with Sonic PC ports, it's been a while since <'s had to put some work in to get things running. Lost World is very peculiar indeed, for some odd reason, if < runs off <'s Nvidia GPU, it'll refuse to show anything unless it's at the same resolution as the desktop. < was able to get it to run at 1080p after having to switch between integrated and Nvidia, but then < wanted to go down a little, as < wasn't getting 60FPS. So < now needs to have the screen resolution change when launching the game, in order to play it.
Then there's the issue with <'s controller, < ended up having to use a utility called x360ce, and then < was forced to use <'s DualShock in wired mode, as that application doesn't detect it if running off bluetooth. Needless to say, <'s kinda tired after that headache.
Maybe <'ll just leave the Sonic games be for now, and try something else. Frankly, <'s a bit curious as to why Lost World is such a pain though, Generations worked pretty well without much fiddling if memory serves.

< likes the sound of Master's day!
Prior to <'s catastrophic data loss < had been planning to do some gaming in the lead-up to Christmas, but evidently there's been a change of plan.

Heh, ^ would probably do a better job of it than < did, mind. Anyways, <'s reset the Favourite Rayman Game survey, so if anyone has run through it before, feel free to do so again, be sure to also give < feedback on the survey in the forum thread. < wants to have a final version of it ready so we can start it by New Year's.

Re: The You Game!
< just watched the Doctor Who Xmas Special. < wasn't fond of it. There were some elements which < did like, such as the Doctor and Nardole, and the villains. But the supporting cast and the whole superhero shtick was just not to <'s taste.
On the plus side, the Series 10 trailer looked rather good, here's hoping Moffat can end his era on a high. <'s generally fond of his tenure, Series 5 is still <'s all time favourite of NuWho. But < feels that some of the bumps are beginning to become excessive.
