That's the main problem right there. Leave whatever they talk about in Discord and related chats, keep it there. The forum has come a long way, it would be a shame for it to come to a sharp decline in general.

May I bring to your attention the fact that, on average, your every-day average You Game post has about as much or even less value to it than the average shitpost, simply due to the fact that shitposts are actually funny?

No, you're overreacting. Keane and I are pretty much the only ones who "shitpost", and it's actually not even that frequently (most of the time there's actually a legitimate point being made), nor are they harming anyone, and I'm contributing to the community (both in terms of creating content and spurring interesting discussion) way the fuck more than most people.

You all seem to be at that stage in life where you have an overbearing desire to be uptight, even when you're complete hypocrites in doing so.

Yes, nothing's changed. New members come frequently, only a few stick around; this happens on every forum.

I was merely offering my opinion that has been basically stated by others recently. There wasn't any kind of intent to command people to "leave those discussions where they belong," no, I know I have no power as a regular member to have such meaning.

The main problem is that it is like treachery, the more you do the more you want, and on the end it doesn't look good. By that of course I mean that the more I shitpost the more I wanna shitpost, and id doesn't contribute in making me better.

I don't know, is exploiting the activity of a forum in order to make you business work ? Yes, is that bad to want to talk more with people that you consider sure and that you want to discuss with ? No, but there are already the previously mentioned forum to do so.

Unless Discord is somehow more active than Skype then the IRC at it's peak has been greatly active that's on par with how Skype is now, and unless you guys only got it when people stopped using the IRC then i've no idea how you two could compare the chats.

Either way my point still is, and still stands that the chats at the very least are far from the sole cause of the decline in forums. You two should at least know how much drama has been going on the past years and while i'm not saying this is the sole reason why there's a decline you can't deny that this too is a reason (among other smaller ones such as people just moving on from forums in general) for it which had a very noticable impact, arguebly more than these chats simply existing.

Did you know I've actually never invited anyone to the Skype group? They all came of their own accord, or through other people. Entirely word of mouth with none of my involvement!
