Re: The You Game!
< is wanting to create a simple system that can generate graphs from streamed input data, the Nucleo Board would be programmed to generate the data, then send it via serial to a PC, which then processes said data to give graphs.

<'s been having those nights lately. Saturday night, < couldn't get to sleep til around 2. Sunday night, around 2:30. For some reason < didn't feel all that tired those mornings when < woke up, when < nearly falls asleep sometimes when < slept for a longer amount of time.

It does suck indeed, though why it happens when < has uni to wake up to, < doesn't know.
< is thinking <'s eczema might be playing a role also.

Well, just like < yesterday but it was because of the bloody dog of < neighbourhood, < screamed "shut the fuck up" in all languages < knew so hard that < got his lungs irritated.Ray502 wrote:<'s been having those nights lately. Since now <'s neighbours might still be affraid.
That's what Master should have done with the dogs that prevented him of sleeping.

< is becoming intimately acquainted with this same phenomenon.Ray502 wrote:<'s been having those nights lately. Saturday night, < couldn't get to sleep til around 2. Sunday night, around 2:30. < wonders if Master has also considered Arduino.

Also aboard the insomnia express, < got no sleep last night.
< wants to play Portal 2 again after bumping into a video about its DLC co-op missions which, somehow, < completely missed.

As much as < hates rote learning, < completely agrees that a certain amount of it is crucial for early development.PluMGMK wrote:Funnily enough today < came across an article touching on this concept.

< agrees, while it's nice to have the conveniences of a calculator, being able to basic maths on the fly is pretty important in many situations.
The Nucleo Board is does have some similarities with Arduino Boards, IIRC. <'s just more familiar with the Nucleo Board since <'s done some work with them in the past.PluMGMK wrote: < wonders if Master has also considered Arduino.

Re: The You Game!
< was never too fond of times tables but at the same time appreciated why they were there. If they are learned without understanding that's a different problem, but < doesn't think that ever happened in <'s day. What did happen is that we got halfway through secondary school, and learned how to calculate the slope of a line, and some of the rules that apply to it,without an understanding of what the slope of a graph really means. Different problem again.
< is quite a bit more hesitant to break out the calculator than <'s peers, which does sometimes slow < down, but not by too much. < is using what might be called "predictive text" to write this, but that's because <'s fingers are lazy, not <'s brain!
< is also still somewhat sore about a quiz < lost by a whisker in French class a few years ago, because < hadn't bothered to learn off an arbitrary "list of thirteen" verbs that use "être" as their auxiliary. (< says it's arbitrary because "monter" was on the list but "passer" wasn't, when in both cases it depends on the sense.)
< is in a lab collecting data!

< will use predictive text when writing messages on the phone, but < tends to go as is when it comes to typing and writing.

< does that fairly often. < recently came across the incident where ^ had eaten a chili pepper right before an English test!
