I know that, not trying to change it. Just throwing in my two cents.
Last day of voting will be 27th which means results on the 28th.
I mentioned it at the start but to repeat here again; next contest is going to be themed and I know some of you wanted a particular theme so when voting be sure to suggest it, or another theme you think you'd like.
Suggested themes :
- Video game logos
- Geometry? (Like shapes and shit)
Also, to come back to the size discussion for a sec - maybe we could add some size templates to the OP? I think that would help some of the people who aren't as experienced with the contest and image editing. I can whip up a couple.
Ambi's logo recreations are always rather fun, Keane's made quite a nice 'un with Rayman and the picturesque town in the background. Hmm, I think I'll go with Dart's evil Luigi, after all, Luigi number one.

I already have a reference to what the maximum size limit is- dare I ask why we would need templates with that in mind? Also excuse me for what might be a dumb question but unless you're using MS Paint is there really a need when most programs ask you what size dimensions you want to work in?

I'm just validating retardation. But I actually think we do have people participating who just make images without knowing how to determine its size (or make them in ms paint), otherwise it wouldn't be a recurring issue where usually the person needs more help or asks if they can just submit it anyway - however basic image size may be.
An indicator of what we're looking for in the form of a template, or just a screenshot with a big red arrow and circle indicating where you're supposed to enter the size would fix el problem easily. Remember, when Keane was but a bab he too complained about not knowing how to determine sizes contest after contest.
I think if a template is made, it should either be made of a limited amount of colours, or just one consistent colour. I says this because when I was a young lad and I tried editing images I would always use the fill tool and my fragile child brain couldn't comprehend the horrors of gradients and antialiasing in images that you can't just use MS Paint's fill tool to remove.
Something like this:
(Using sharp letter rendering instead of smooth/antialiased)
So people can just import the picture into any editing software and draw over it

We have one person saying aye to geometry. How do we all feel about that? If I get a majority consent on that or any other theme then i'll go with that.

It seems jure edited his vote so I think a recount of the votes would be better, Serza.
I'll throw a vote for my nigga #Rubber mark# anyway.
I'm not recounting votes. If jurebj makes a new post saying that he wants to change his vote from one member to another he can say so.
