Here goes: The pirate rises even higher in the air momentarily, turning as though about to explode, then shakes its head and returns to its normal trajectory. (Unless of course it had only one hitpoint left, in which case it does explode!)

I thought they were just kings, not gods. Also note that Master said "another divine entity", seemingly implying he was only talking about one person/thing.
My first thought was Mr Death because I suppose he's meant to be the grim reaper, but then again he doesn't seem very divine.

No, it's still sitting in my cupboard sadly looking at me to play it.
But! I finally have a Windows installation on this machine that works really well, so I should be getting round to playing it soon. Soon... TM Maybe one more round of R2 before I do so though haha

As for the current question, Plum, isn't there a minigame where two players can ride Flying Shells that are actually Yellow Walking Shells with the exceptional ability to fly (i.e. they're not the Grey Flying Shells; they're like the Yellow Walking Shell of the Crow's Nest)? I'm investigating further whether I can find an occurence where this Shell-meets-Shell thing happens in the PC version. I have an inkling I've seen it somewhere, but can't recall exactly where.
