To <, this day has gone by fast. < means really fast.
< wished time would slow down for just once, so < can just lay back and relax. Might be summer time til that will happen.

< is sorry to hear that, < wishes you a good luck.

If you don't mind <'s asking, what on earth would make you feel like a failure?
1 and a half years of job searching, with well over 100 or so applications, and closest you get is a failed interview.
< understands that it's a thing that takes time and it's not easy even if < was going for an industry that isn't hard as balls but it doesn't make it any less mentally hard
No matter how long it takes to find a job, don't let that make you feel like a failure. If you let things like that change how you see yourself, you'll only do yourself harm. If < is correct, ^ is trying to get a job in game development which < obviously has zero experience in (nor really anything career related) but < has heard about how incredibly difficult it is.
If you think you're not up to the task because you haven't achieved anything worthwhile yet, you won't be able to make that achievement in the first place. And if you just think about how you haven't been able live up to others' or your own expectations you'll end up convincing yourself that it's hopeless. And most importantly if you just accept that it's hopeless then you really won't get anywhere.
It might sound cheesy and dumb but think about how you're not the only one in this position, that you're not the only one struggling to find a job which is an issue < would think the majority in your field face, then putting it into perspective shows you're hardly a failure since you're persisting where many would give up. Failure would only be if you completely gave up finding a job at all.
That's what < thinks at least, < really doesn't have any experience with this sort of thing though so sorry if < is just blabbing unhelpful gubbins
Dara is no Craig Charles, but while he doesn't have the same bombastic enthusiasm, his nerdiness shines through. It's definitely a different style, but < thinks the new presenters still very much show an appreciation for Robot Wars. Jonathon Pierce still commentates, and it's just as good as always.
< wanted to watch Dara's Go 8 Bit also, but < doesn't want to make an account on UK GOLD.

< wonders what industry you're looking in.
< says Ambi was right in saying < is going in the games industry as a programmer

No you are correct. All < can really say is that < tends to go "overboard" with wording when < is feeling really shitty so ofc < is far from any sort of giving up (Actually < thinks < was applying for jobs not long after the first post or at least < did some today). Thank you though for your words and support.
ffs hUMCH < thinks you should uninstall that copy of Photoshop or whatever you use, you should know that <’s getting sick of the zXK and miniSD jokes already for the love of god
< just read online that words that rhyme with "steel", "feel", "meal" etc. have one syllable. < feels like <'s going mental because no matter how < says it, it sounds like 2 syllables.
