Well let < do a little math here.

Posts in 2017 so far: 1,256.
Days in 2017 so far: 71.
1,256 divided by 71 = 17.69 which is the average amount of posts per day.
Estimated amount of days before Record Day (estimated date is July 1st): 80.
80 x 17.69 = 1,415.2.
1,415 + 1,256 = 2,671.

< would say so, if <'s math is correct.

Indeed, though bear in mind that ppd does rely on general activity, < doesn't think ^ would be able to sustain such an average if RPC isn't as active.

Even if <'s post per day through the next 80 days dropped to for example, 9.75, < would still have more than 2,000 total. There's another variable which is when will RD actually start. < would expect it to be a little later than July 1st, so < might have more days to get to that amount if <'s activity goes through a slight decline.
