- My cat Cleocatra was put down today. She's suffering from epileptic seizures (classic) after she tried to eat a toad she caught (she was a active hunter), and the last two days she's gotten so much worse to the point she scratched her own claws off and missing a toe here and there. Last night she had 16 relapses after one another.
-/+ My mother called me off so I don't have to work today due to this event. And nobody at my workplace deserves to see like this.
+ At least I was the last thing she saw before her soul took off. I could have sworn I saw myself when I looked into her eyes. She was in so much pain and in so much grief, we had to choose the 'final option' to end her suffering. And she was relieved.
