Argh, scrap that question. I tried finding where I got it, but to no avail. I remember reading how the Yellow Lums were stored in a vault, which the Hoodlums were going to rob. I can't find where I read that though.

So, another question...

Ray502 - 9 points
CHRdutch - 6 points

Q17 - Which Rayman 1 boss can be skipped?

Well, I think Ray502's answer was good enough, so...

Ray502 WINS SEASON 100 OF THE TEENSIES QUIZ

I'll be sending 2500 tings to Ray502 shortly, and the 1500 tings to you, CHRdutch. I'm sorry I stumbled in the end, but I hope you both enjoyed the final round, and you both played very well.

Thank you everyone who played this special season, and for helping me in refining this new format. Please don't be afraid to give suggestions on how to refine the format further. I will be amending the ruleset I made before we started, and hopefully, on the next big occasion, someone else may be able to give hosting this special edition a shot.

For now, there's the final question to ask, will you, Ray502, begin a new cycle of TTQ? Will you host Season 101?

Yes! I most certainly will host Season 101!

Great game Dutch! You had me getting worried near the end. You proved to be a worthy opponent in this rough and tough nail-biting battle, but in the end, I got the last strike. As for the others, thanks for everyone who helped us get here!

Master wrote:I'm guessing you're referring to the SNES vs NES confusion. I didn't think it was a typo, I thought Plum legitimately meant NES.
Even if he didn't know the difference between the two, in his mind he was still referring to the correct prototype. “Minisauars” is a strange typo and might have been more than that, hence the comparison.
Master wrote:As for the Viking thing, those inverted quotations were very much intentional.
I noticed them, but that could mean anything. I'd suggest “inspired by an erroneous/historically inaccurate Viking stereotype”.

And then, there's still “Viking Mama”, which is clearly not just a typo, even though it did refer the correct answer.
Master wrote:I've edited the offensive statements out. As for this question, since there's some uncertainty again. Let's go for a third one!
I missed it, what happened there? :confus:

Bosses maybe?

All right, I think I'm done pissing Master. :oops2:

Congratulations to Ray502 for winning. CHRdutch, you made a good opponent. Thank you all for participating, and well done Master for hosting this awesome season! :partyhat:

Fair points, I'll take them into account when I do hosting again, for now, I'm rather tuckered out.

As for Season 101, since the majority of folks have had a break due to being beaten in prior rounds, I'm going to reduce the usual waiting period to one week for this season only. As such, you'll be free to host from the 22nd onward, Ray502.

Could you record a video of that for me please? On my version, it's just a black screen with blue sparkles and a deep red glow moving around slowly in the background.

Congrats Ray502!! A winner is you!~

This was an exciting round to watch unfold.

I'll be sure to try and be around for this next season...!

"Swirling lava" was just my interpretation of that deep red glow moving slowly around. :fou:

Hi all, I'd just like to offer my enormous thanks to Master for transforming this humble quiz. The amount of time and effort he has invested into hosting seasons and particularly preparing this hugely successful 100th anniversary season is so, so appreciated, and frankly I think he is deeply undervalued and undercredited.

It is touching for me in particular, having founded this quiz 13 years ago. A little history for the 98% who aren't in a position to recall: I originally created the quiz in 2004 in RaymanZone (the then official Rayman forum), where, for some reason, it found big success in the phpBB era. It was then lost with those forums, resurfaced after a couple of failed attempts in this very forum in 2005, I believe, and was then re-ignited with an overhaul in 2008.

It's so lovely to see it still survives today, having supported 100 seasons and nearly 1000 pages of posts. So, a huge and from-the-heart 'thank you' to Master, for all of his efforts :teuf:

I'd also like to say, the structure and gameplay has remained the same throughout the quiz's existence. If anyone has any ideas to improve it feel free to posit those opinions :D

Wow, I don't mean to make a big deal, but that had me tear up a little. I'm truly thankful for those kind words, and I'm honoured to have your blessing on the work I've done since I took over the quiz. I've had my ups and downs and days where I've felt very undermotivated, but overall I've had so much fun with TTQ, from even before my mod days. And seeing so many folks having fun with the quiz alongside myself makes it all the more worthwhile.

It's a very long legacy that I didn't even know about, and I'm very glad to have contributed positively towards it. I do hope folks feel the same with the TTQ, and I echo Xenon's sentiment. Feedback on how to improve the quiz is always most welcome!

Excellent, I'll update the OP. Have a fun game, everyone!

While I'm here, I've been thinking about having a special edition take place after every so and so amount of games. Since I've now been able to host it with success, I want you guys to be able to host such things, as is in the spirit of the quiz. Let me know what you guys think.

I have this idea in my head. Every 25 seasons there should be a special edition, and every 50 seasons the prizes would be of a higher amount. These special editions will have questions that focus on a certain part of the Rayman series (i.e. the original trilogy for one special edition and another for the UbiArt games).
