Hmm, makes sense.

Though usually if I get home and nap it could last for an hour to almost 9 at night if I do so when I get home.

Heh, I don't think I've ever napped for a long period of time. I don't really nap usually anyways.

Sometimes naps help me be rid of headaches.

Ah, fair enough. Usually if it's a major headache, it'll be the painkillers for me. But I don't tend to nap, I just wait until it's time to sleep.

I usually end up using painkillers too, especially if it is bad enough. Or a combination of that and a nap.

If it's particularly bad, I tend to apply a cooling pad to the forehead. Water tends to be consumed also.

Cooling? Hmm, I usually thought heat was better for that.

Hmm, I don't know in honesty. I've always used a Cool-n-soothe whenever I'm dealing with a painful headache.

I've never used anything like that before. Always a hot shower, hot washcloth, or a heating pad.

Headaches tend to be caused by overly tight neck muscles, in that case applying slight heat there would be better. Massaging the neck with a hot shower can be pretty effective indeed, the steam also helps clear the sinuses if those are a contributing factor to the headache.

Huh, I've learned something today. I'll be sure to give applying heat a try the next time I'm contending with a headache.

It'd be worth giving a try, that's for sure.

I usually have to pop a couple ibuprofen tabs in order to tackle any headaches but that sounds like something worth trying.

I don't really have a set routine. I eat a good breakfast though, I'm always ravenous when I wake up and it's important to boost your energy early on

I have a little child, so I usually get up early. I help my wife with our son, take a shower, eat my breakfast, drink coffee and go to work.

Welcome to the forum, Mathew! Sounds like a lot of responsibilities, something I'm quite unfamiliar with :oops2:
I've taken up a habit of sleeping in for an extra half hour every morning leaving me half an hour to get to school, so I've reinstated the old strategy of getting a mouthful of cornflakes and pouring milk over to get breakfast in just before I leave (refer to dutch's sig) :hinhin:

I don't think my routine will change anytime soon. It may when I begin that time when I want to settle down, get a job and find a mate to start a family with.

I genuinely want to know whether you managed to pull that off without letting any drop of milk pour out of your mouth. :fou:

I am a master waterfaller. I can pour any drink into my mouth from half a metre high!
'Tis an art that requires practice and precision, and a lot of learning from mistakes
