Alright lads. Just a quick update to say I fixed up the front page namely to actually include the rank template (which was lost when dropbox decided public folders aren't free anymore) as well as add new ranks and remove ones with broken links.

I'm sure we had Gameboy ranks at some point way back but that was when it used the old rank template, most of those are hidden in the depths of this thread.

Haha yes I love that 'shot' honestly. I used to use it as an icon on various sites, but it has remained on my pretty dead youtube channel over all these years.

Very neat one indeed, I'd be tempted to put it to use if I ever won a Special Avvie. Only issue is that it's using the old pre-2012 ranklist template. Is anyone capable of updating it to use the newer anti-aliased rank icon?

These are some of my favourite shots from the game; from any Rayman game, really.

Man, I love the art style of that Rayman GBC game. It's so well-done. I could've easily seen it be one of those "crappy mobile ports" that so many games have, with shoddy graphics and so-so gameplay and music. Fun to have, but not necessarily a good game. But the RGBC game... it's its whole own game. I believe I've done an extensive review of it in the past so I won't dawdle on too much here, but ay caramba, what an art style. Such effective use of the little spectrum of colours they had to work with. Great perspectives too.

Oh yes, the environments are very painterly, and fitting! My only issue with Rayman 1 on GBC is how repetitive it can get in a sense. Forest this, forest that...
Otherwise the sprite work was great too, and some of the more original tracks were pretty good for a quick GBC game. Also Mr. Dark looks really great in this game. I'd say it's an underappreciated game honestly. I used to kind of have some sour feelings to it, but now I think I'll take some of that back.
