< doesn't want to have to remind Xenon of the rules of the game.
< is also curious though.

Re: The You Game!
< used to play from '14-'16, but then < was over the minimum age for seniors. Haven't played since then cause <'s last season was rough.
Re: The You Game!
< tends to also use "bugger" when < speaks english, although < swears a lot in a single day... like a dude coming straight out of an 80's movie, so depending on the mood < can use a little bit more strong language.Master wrote:< isn't below the odd expletive, but in general < tends to refrain from using them. Bugger is <'s current favourite, though whether it's considered an expletive, < isn't sure.

< would love to play it. Over here we call it rounders, although it is slightly different I believe.Ray502 wrote:< used to play from '14-'16, but then < was over the minimum age for seniors. Haven't played since then cause <'s last season was rough.
< doesn't see the point when a '^' was used. It's still in the spirit of the game.PluMGMK wrote:< doesn't want to have to remind Xenon of the rules of the game.

Re: The You Game!
< is 60 hours in and while < is really enjoying the characters thus far < feels like they might lack a certain something that made P3 and 4's so great. (< will go in depth after finishing P5, and < will write a lengthy review for it here when finished.)Dart wrote:in regards to the gameplay < definitely agrees, but < isnt entirely sure if < will like the story and characters more or less than P3s. On one side P5 hits the ground running with its characters and story, while personas 1, 3, 4, and the various spinoffs often all had a slow start one way or another, but at the same time the high points in those games (Junpei's resolve, Shijiro's sacrifice, Nanako's obduction) were among the best story segments I've seen play out in a video game ever, and it's hard to think those can be topped.Rayfist wrote:< has also been playing Persona 5 and < is blown the fuck away by it.Dart wrote:< has been pretty sick the past 2 weeks.
< is also in the middle of playing Persona 5 (just beat the 3rd dungeon today), it's totally been worth the wait.
< feels like there has been a huge absence of good turn based JRPG's on consoles, and compared to FFXV which went so drastically far from its routes, Persona 5 does what made Persona 3 and 4 good, ONLY BETTER. This is easily becoming <'s favorite Persona game.
Regardless of characters though < thinks 5 does everything else better, especially the theme of the story being to rebel against the corruption in society. < finds it to be a way more exciting and interesting plot device instead of 'seeking out the truth' or 'identity', not that there was anything wrong with that but P4 was my least favorite of the social sim era.
2 of which ^ mentioned actually nearly made < cry. P5 definitely has heartbreaking moments that are equally as bad, but hasn't actually impacted < as much as P3 and 4's moments did.Dart wrote:(Junpei's resolve, Shijiro's sacrifice, Nanako's obduction) were among the best story segments I've seen play out in a video game ever, and it's hard to think those can be topped.
