-/+ Feeling a bit triggered after coming across a particularly nasty YouTube controversy, but props to the folks who've put a spotlight on it. I hope Google acts decisively.
- While I'm not in uni as often since it's pre-exam season, I don't want to fall into the pattern of sleeping late just yet. Guess what I'm doing?

- I disagree with youtube/google acting upon it though until they get reported by real life forces and can have those vids as evidence

+ Fortunately, since it's gotten noticed, I've seen folks have been archiving. Even if the videos are taken down, the evidence won't go so easily. Though I agree, easier to have the evidence front and center for now.

+ Finally got an experiment done today that I'd been waiting to do for a week.

± I guess my ability to BS convincingly was confirmed recently though. I had apparently successfully convinced myself that the spellings of "mould" with and without the U are used on this side of the Atlantic to distinguish sense, when in fact only the spelling with U is used.

– Or maybe I just haven't been eating enough lately, causing me to salivate more…

– Almost forgot, today's the sixth anniversary of Portal 2's release. This whole "getting old" thing is, well, getting old…

- was unable to go to that buffet like I wanted to. A sudden turn of events prevented it.

Tried that and exFat, no luck with either.

- Came to reality that the finals will begin in exactly two days.
- Four straight days of nothing but getting up early and answering a bunch of questions.

- Time to crunch in more Geometry studying.
- Science studying proved to be little help. Have to take History finals instead on the 7th of May.

– Well, the optical drive in my PC was well and truly banjaxed.
+ Had an idea to use the one in my server instead, over the network, which led me to learn about NBD.
– Turns out, once again, that CSS-ed DVDs don't really work well with that.
+ At least I learned something new!
+ Then discovered I had a spare optical drive lying around, so everything's back in order!

+ No more finals for a while. It gives me the rest my brain needed from doing all of the hard work that needed to be done with a 90 minute limit.
- But once Monday rolls around, the regular assessments/exams still remain to be finished.
+ Thankfully I'm in a good shape to finish before the end of the 26th of May.

+ Managed to make a Windows 10 VM using QEMU that directly accesses my graphics card!
– Procrastination and indecision led me to not start to work on it properly until "after Linux 4.11 came out" (this morning), so I didn't get to spend the whole long weekend fine-tuning it.
– Likewise, didn't get to actually try any games on it!
– I'm too tired to go bump the Linux topic and explain in more detail.
