< is happy for ^^. < knows how difficult it can be to get Linux stuff working on NTFS partitions…
< has an NTFS partition mounted normally, but has to unmount it when starting <'s shiny new Windows VM. < would like to use cifs-utils to be able to remount it as an SMB share. For some reason though Windows doesn't want me to be able to access SMB shares of entire partitions, even though I can mount subdirectories just fine…

It's a fair point, < does think the flashbacks didn't need to be spread out as they were, < wonders if Moffat was unsure about how to put the vault reveal in place.

< thinks at the very least they'd be better if each segment before the next flashbacks where bigger so they don't feel as scattered

< actually realizes that NTFS is in fact a really good tool, not everything from Microsoft is shit seemingly, the file system in fact supports POSIX.
< was able to set up a fake PlayOnLinux folder using symlinks pointing to his NTFS hard disk, to save the Linux Disk Space. It wasn't easy.

< once did that but then at some point <'s distro decided to start shipping an NTFS module that prevented files on NTFS partitions from being executable. Thankfully < is no longer bound to the vagaries of distros…

< wonders if they were really needed in the first place. < can't help but ponder if it'd been best just to reveal who was in the vault, and have the flashback later on to clarify. Either ways, it is Moffat's last series, so time will tell if the next series will wobble on this.

< just upgraded to GNOME 3.24 and now the fonts in qutebrowser look much nicer!

< could sort of see them working? But even then given that the next epsisode would continue on this arc it might've been better to have episodes dedicated to the particular flash back and then bring them together at one point

The thing is, < isn't sure if the vault will play a part in the next parts of this 3-parter, or if it's just more slow burn until the series finale. If it does turn out to tie into this arc, then < thinks it'd be alright. But if it's just a small part of the overall series arc, then < probably would have preferred to have waited on it.
