Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
On the first day I would probably just buy a load of random stuff, and probably "drinks". Choosing a house would likely take weeks and I certainly wouldn't just want to invest it all.

I've never tried iOS but that's mostly because I can't justify spending that much on an iPhone.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
When iOS took its visually fancy new direction with version 7, it really stopped understanding itself. I can't figure out how to use an iPhone now for the life of me without its built-in weird-ass super unintuitive tutorial, and I can't count the number of people I know who have iPhones that don't know how to do anything beyond really basic shit on it. It's become one of those operating systems that's so incredibly vague: it's not clear how things are organised, what exactly your options are, where to find things, how anything works together, and what certain buttons even do. The same can be said about OS X to some degree, though the veil is significantly thinner. If it wasn't, people would actually stop using it.
One thing that's always seemed so intuitive to me and has amazed every single Apple user I've shown it to is Android's universal Back button. iOS probably doesn't have this because the only one of Jobs' ideas they seemed to actually take to heart when he died was one of his worst, if taken completely literally: one button. Seriously, even Apple fanboys are taken aback and impressed by the back button... the fuck has consumer technology come to

I'm not a big fan of iOS but I picked it over Android because after rooting my Android and Jailbreaking my itouch, it feels like there are many more useful features from Cydia than I can find in Xposed, and I'm not really big on the idea of a whole new ROM (I'd rather just get the odd add-on than install a whole new interface)

Alright, onto the 15th poll: "Do you like to party?"
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I freaking love parties. I'm literally always down for them, anytime, anywhere.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I could do with having friends who invite me to parties.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
It may sound bland but I'm not a big fan of parties, even though I've actually hosted quite a few myself. I really enjoy meet-ups and inviting friends over, but when more than 3 or 4 people are over it seems to always spiral into complete madness. I suppose I just prefer a more contained "party" that involves everyone in one room sitting on the sofa screaming at each other playing smash bros, rather than an uncontrollable swarm of mess permeating my entire house.
But I don't mind as much if they don't take place in my house

Indeed, if I'm at a gathering, I prefer a more calmer and cosier atmosphere. Loud and brash atmospheres that tend to accompany parties aren't really the sort of thing I tend to flourish or enjoy myself in.

Parties ? Only if I can do this

Eh, I don't really see why there needs to be a difference. Both can cater to adults and children, and both have had their fair share of major names and classics.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
While I do like both, I'll put cartoons just because off the top of my head I can think of many more cartoon/animated shows that I've enjoyed than live-action. Whether that's because it's a cartoon or just because of happenstance I don't know, but I'm leaning towards the former because there's a tendency for live-action shows to encompass more drama/social interaction/realistic shows than cartoons do, and cartoons tend to be more fantasy/sci-fi/fiction etc. than live action (in general, not always of course) which I tend to enjoy more. Also in terms of the actual visuals and aesthetics of the picture I enjoy animation more than live-action.

I'm not really someone who regularly reads the newspaper, but every now and then I do check the front page headlines when my dad is done reading the majority of the newspaper.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Right, new poll. Fairly straightforward, do you prefer digital or physical copies of games?
As someone who tends to be very disorganized and can lose or damage physical media fairly easily, my natural preference is digital, but I get the feeling I'll be in the minority…
