I had a go on this test again but against my Mum (she used to be a secretary and is quite fast at typing)

Hmm, I was looking at how I typed in uni, and I found that I had an easier time typing in comparison to using the chiclet keyboard on my laptop. I'm wondering if I just prefer having normal chunky keyboards as opposed to the keyboards on laptops.

My blind run-through, no practise. I did notice I was slower than when I would regularly type text, as I had to focus on copying what I saw as opposed to printing out what I was imagining to say, myself.

Yess, 109 was the highest of my three tries just now, the others being 91 due to tripping over myself and 99 for whatever other reason.

Fuck, I haven't gotten faster, just more accurate (programming).

65 wpm, I have been very lazy with typing lately, I can't even touch type properly anymore. Still, better than I was at the beginning of the year, I guess that small amount of time I spent doing Record Day amounted to something.

I made 73 WPM without mistakes and 104 WPM typing fast. Though to be quite honest, I continuously tried taking the test perfectly for nearly an hour now so I practically burned out, so I guess this isn't really accurate of my typing ability. I'll try again later and repost. It appears this test doesn't really account for mistakes, as I've taken others that subtracted from the speed I was going for number of mistakes. Hmm..

This is probably the first typing game I've found that is not only fun, but also addicting.

To get a good score multiplier though, you have to go against everything your instincts are telling you, and NOT push the space bar after every word.

I tried this just now, immediately found this quite interesting. Maybe when I have time I'll do a complete run of this.

This was a little over three years ago, I tried again today and got 127wpm, but three typos. I dunno, I feel like I'd do better if I didn't have a bit of a fucked up spacebar on my laptop!
