+/- I do not understand why I'm not able to fall asleep before 5-6 AM despite having to wake up at 8:00 for work, and why I'm somehow able to function consistently fine on 2-4 hours of sleep for an entire week straight, barring feeling tired for like an hour at around noon.

- Maybe it is affecting my performance, because I just spent three days trying to figure out why my SQL commands were failing when executed by the software, only to realise I forgot to open the connection in the first place. My coworker being off until January because of University doesn't help stupid-checking either.

- I got a Bacon King from Burger King yesterday at lunch I was saving for dinner, only to find my dog devouring it on top of the kitchen counter right before I was about to chow down. Fucking dick! That's a big-ass $7 burger.

- 0 hours of sleep today, because juatever. I was working on a music commission until 3 AM, then did a week's worth of dishes until 5 AM (someone broke our dishwasher during the last party), then noticed I made a mistake in the music commission and had to go back and fix it, and now it's 7:15

+ I should be finished up with a small financials program for my boss today, after which I'll be switching over to working with the branding/marketing team to overhaul the company's presentation for their 50th anniversary this year, starting with the creation of an actual visual design code.

+ Thank god, because at least I could lead a visual design meeting in my sleep, almost literally here

- Found a pile of nice winter clothes I'd lost since June… in the corner of the sauna under a bench, covered in mould

+ I'm now in university accomodation and I'm enjoying every second of it!
+ After months and months of searching, I found and ordered a game from eBay that, up until that point, I wasn't sure even existed!
+ Thanks to the university giving me way too much money to spend in an online shop, I have also ordered a 21:9 monitor while spending no money!

- Hearing folks getting settled in Uni and finishing sixth form makes me feel old.
+ Though it does make me nostalgic, I don't know...
- Maybe I'm feeling a little melancholy knowing that this is my final year, and some of my peers have already graduated since they were on Bachelors

Though enough reminiscing and self reflection, I do hope you enjoy your uni years, I'm guessing it's freshers next week, right? We ended up starting early and doing a small challenge. I didn't see the point of it at the time, but I am glad we went through it. It was a nice ice-breaker and it helped me get to know my fellow classmates. Perhaps if you can, try seeing if you can't find some of your future classmates, it'll be useful to know the folks you could potentially be working with in the coming years.
