+ I have a new needle in my turntable
– didn’t wanna keep using the one I had because 1. it’s a bit dusty; 2. I had doubts about its condition; 3. I don’t wanna play records with a needle in unknown condition

- Sister is driving me so crazy right now, that it is not even funny
- No cold weather
- One of the bus tires popped so another bus had to be sent for me
- Bus service is becoming unreliable again
+ No troubles getting home

+ I saw Mac DeMarco and The Flaming Lips last night and it was really speedario, both delivered and I loved the vibe of the whole event. The audience was the funniest, most genuinely likable crowd of people I've ever been with and even though I was there by myself I enjoyed listening in on the trashy looking guys in their 60s debating what the best album is and watching the crazy fucking cosplayers fill the venue. It rubbed off on me much better than the sterile crowd I had with Muse.

+ Mac was everything I hoped for and the Lips were surprisingly good, there were a few typical issues (nearly every song had 1-2 minutes of the riff being repeated until finally it kicked off because they were busy setting up some prop for the performance) but overall I was impressed by how much they cleaned up their act in comparison to shows from earlier this year. The dreamy, sometimes nightmarish and zany tone of their music was translated wonderfully to the live show.

- None of that happened today, I'm breaking the rules of the game hbwhaway

+ Also I obtained my driving permit and properly went on the road for the first time today, I instantly loved it and I feel like I'm gonna be picking it up almost naturally with a couple more lessons.

+/- I do not understand why I'm not able to fall asleep before 5-6 AM despite having to wake up at 8:00 for work, and why I'm somehow able to function consistently fine on 2-4 hours of sleep for an entire week straight, barring feeling tired for like an hour at around noon.

- I woke up at 6 PM yesterday because I was working from home

+ I should be finished up with a small financials program for my boss today

- LOL NOPE, I had to go back and make 69k changes, and it was only finished last Friday.

after which I'll be switching over to working with the branding/marketing team to overhaul the company's presentation for their 50th anniversary this year, starting with the creation of an actual visual design code.

+ This went incredibly well. The graphic lead of the marketing team loved my emblem, and she had a brilliantly simple way of integrating it into the logo itself. We also created a really fresh and modern-looking ad for the back of a popular cottage life magasine.

- Found a pile of nice winter clothes I'd lost since June… in the corner of the sauna under a bench, covered in mould

+ Blasting each one individually with hot water for two hours left them… all as good as new, every single one! I thought I'd lost these two amazing blouses which were just caked, but nop

- Got rejected for one of the grad schemes I applied to
+/- It was quite a ways from here, and while part of me does want to be more autonomous at this point, I don't know if I'm ready to move so far.

- I don't know if it's because I don't take as much time out to check, but I've noticed I'm making a significantly larger amount of typos here than I used to.

Yes, I always turn the thing off at night.

+ Found out today that we're gonna have only have as much "Maths of Natural Phenomena" homework from now on, as project deadlines approach.

+ Just wrote a little qutebrowser userscript to open up tabs I have on my phone's browser (IceCat) on the desktop without relying on an external service.

I do, but it’s connected to my mom’s laptop.
