Aye, <'s using the site http://www.randimg.net/
You upload your pictures and it gives you a link which randomises the image you see each time you refresh the page

Re: The You Game!
< had some friends over last night and it began snowing. We went outside at 6 in the morning (after drinking profusely) and it was completely silent with the twilight of the morning making the snow glow. <'d never seen anything quite like it before. We had a snowball fight and < did a belly slide down the road
< honestly hasn't seen snow like this in years, it's really quite nostalgic.

Re: The You Game!
It is indeed, it seems to be fleeting where < is though, the melt has already begun. Still, < can't complain too much, as it hopefully means <'s travels aren't disrupted. < does hope we'll some more later on when <'s on holiday.Ambidextroid wrote:< had some friends over last night and it began snowing. Also, ^ needs to end the Riddles game, the final riddle to ask is ^'s.

Ahh yes, to be young during a school day, intently staring at the radio hoping that your school was on the rollcall for closure. It's a feeling < dearly misses.

Re: The You Game!
< finally got <'s EasyCap working, a really cheap USB capture card < bought off ebay years ago that gave < a lot of grief with <'s old computer. Now < can capture composite video in all its beautiful interlaced glory!

Re: The You Game!
< used one of these:

Which essentially turns an S-video or composite feed into a USB webcam. It's no better than standard composite resolution but it does the job. Apparently a lot of these devices are faulty knockoffs and they tend to be very hit-and-miss but <'s seems to work quite well with <'s current setup.

Re: The You Game!
It is such a coincidence that < just downloaded Super Mario 64 for the Project64 emulator and then that picture showed up.
Re: The You Game!
Yeah, < has one of those too, but < can’t get the video to look as good as yours.Ambidextroid wrote:< used one of these:

Re: The You Game!
< wonders what's wrong with ^'s picture quality? <'s using VirtualDub to configure the picture settings and <'s using a splitter to send the signal to both <'s PC and TV, other than that < can't think of anything <'s done which could change the quality.
Re: The You Game!
< says that it doesn’t give me “raw” composite, it seems to filter it somehow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fClYh8LepW4Ambidextroid wrote:< wonders what's wrong with ^'s picture quality? <'s using VirtualDub to configure the picture settings and <'s using a splitter to send the signal to both <'s PC and TV, other than that < can't think of anything <'s done which could change the quality.
Well it still looks good enough.

Re: The You Game!
<'s isn't much better than that, here's a test recording:
(And <'s video seems to be corrupted
)
Re: The You Game!
< asks what chipset your EasyCap uses, as the video quality seems to be similar to <’s.

Re: The You Game!
< isn't sure, how would < find out?
Re: The You Game!
< was expecting today to be less tense But < had to complete about four very long student health questioning booklets.
Kinda frustrating.
