Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Maybe we can split the gate and electoons in two separate points, like:
- The gate looks a lot different
- This screenshot shows that the game originally was going to have Electoons

That sounds like a good idea, combine that with the different looking monster, and I think we've got our lot. Shall I submit, then?

Going to submit as I'm heading off soon.
Ray502 wrote: Team 2: Look at the picture below.
List three things that show the game was in its early production at the point that picture was taken.
- The end gate is different and lacks the detail and theming seen in the final game
- There are Electoon emblems on the end gate, implying that Electoons originally served some purpose in the game
- The monster design is different to the monsters seen in the final game

Sorry again guys, let's try to get back on track.
Both teams are incorrect.
Team 1 - 3 points
Team 2 - 2 points
Team 1: Who says this and when: "The Pirates have captured lots of Teensies, free them!"?
Team 2: Rayman was going to have legs in which game(s)?

Dude, you're meant to only submit if the Team Captain is unavailable and allows for it. I'm right here, man.
As for the legs thing, surely it's Rayman 1, right? The whole him being limbless because of graphical limitations is a bit of a common story. There was also some artwork done in the UbiArt style, but I vaguely recall that being an April Fools joke than actual intent of implementation.

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
If I remember correctly, they also wanted to bring back Rayman's legs in Rayman 3. But that idea was scrapped completely.
(Also, do the Raving Rabbids games count?)

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
I recall there being some intrigue around Rayman 3, but I thought that was because some folks thought that Rayman was turned into a frog, not because of legs. Do you recall any further details about having legs in Rayman 3?
As for RRR, it's up to interpretation, given how some of Rayman's outfits do appear to have legs, so it's less a matter of "going to" and more "did," I think.

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
I can’t think of anyone but Ly, though I don’t actually remember the line
Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Neither do I. Could be in the PS1 version where she replaces Murfy. Or it could be in one of the handheld games (R3 GBA or R2 GBC)

Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
Could very well be hearsay then. I think it might be best we play it safe and stick with Rayman 1 only. I'm not sure why Aaron went with Rayman 2, so I'll give him a chance to explain his reasoning. However, if I don't get anything for in the next three hours, I'll go with "Rayman 1 only" as the submitted answer.CHRdutch wrote:I once read it on TV tropes.Master wrote:Do you recall any further details about having legs in Rayman 3?

Well, I'm going to be guessing that it is Ly from the beginning of the PS1 version of Rayman 2.Ray502 wrote: Team 1: Who says this and when: "The Pirates have captured lots of Teensies, free them!"?

Team 1 is incorrect. Team 2 has 11 hours left to answer.

Team 2 is also incorrect.
Team 1 - 3 points
Team 2 - 2 points
Team 1: Name an event that caused the Glade of Dreams to no longer be 100% pure bizarre fiction (canon only).
Team 2: What makes it strange to see Rayman eating in the intro of Rayman Origins?

Could it be that he's also sleeping?
Re: TTQ: Season 109 - Round 1
I'm a bit confused with the question here. I mean the Rabbids games (like RRR2) had connections with the real world, an educational game had some changes made to it after 9/11 etc. Or are we talking more about how realistic the world is? In that case it seems more up to interpretation in my opinion, though I'm not sure. Anyone have any ideas?
