<'s internet speeds have taken a hit for reasons unknown to <, dropping to around 1 or 2 Mbps.
< suspects its because <'s using powerline networking to stretch the ethernet signal all the way to the top floor in an old house with a bunch of other powerline adapters all over the place... Though that still doesn't explain why it's only become a problem recently. Also < can't think of any other way to connect <'s PC to the internet from the top floor

< decided to install Lubuntu onto an old netbook < found. It works for the most part, but it's not outputting sound to the internal speakers, headphones are fine, though.
