I actually have the theory that they were like frogspawn as the result of a single pregnancy....but the joke had to be made o3o

In Rayman 2 in the Iron Mountains Uglette says that the pirates captured all of her babies, but as you could see there werent 650 babies, there was much less, so Uglette meant only the newest born babies. The rest kids are bigger toddlers, kids, teenagers etc. It seems that there are born about 50 glute babies at once. I've always assumed the same thing. And since they then would lay eggs, the little ones could very well possibly be tadpoles when hatching. Though since they're practically fully transformed into toads by the time of the toddler stage, it could be that they remain tadpoles for a very short period (to minimize risk of becoming easy prey?) Did you know that frogs also lay so many eggs because of the fact most of their offspring won't make it?

It's fun comparing Globox' species to what they represent. It gives a very interesting point of view.

We cant be exactly sure how the glutes born, but according to the end of Rayman Revolution trailer the glutes seem to lay big eggs.

What are you expecting from Globox in the future games? I expect that they give him his R3 look back, his personality from both R2 and 3. I also expect Uglette and the Babies to return. And i also would be very happy if the plum juice would be back and Globox would drink it.

I like Globox in RO too, but not as much as in the prievous games, he has so different attitude and he looks a bit drunk in RO.

Hahaha, thanks for showing me this actually. I don't mind that they're not tadpoles. It makes them more human in fact.

Personally, my favorite Globox "version" is in Rayman 2 because in Rayman 3 his jokes are forced, although I still have to admit the most hilarious thing that I've seen from Globox is when he burps out bubbles to help you get over to high places in The Land of the Livid Dead and in Desert of the Knaaren.

I'm not the biggest fan of Globox's (and Murfy's too) abrupt personality change from Rayman 2 to Rayman 3, but it's benign. At least the jokes aren't that bad.

Do they even reproduce? The knowledge of the world in Rayman 2 said that Polokus created "Globox and his family."

Well you're right! I know there's a lot of things that don't make sense in Rayman games, but I'm stil baffled as to how they managed to overlook such a simple thing.

I can't say I care much about it now, but when I was a kid that was a real big deal for me! Retrospectively, I was being a bit worryingly obsessive about it, but I always tried to reconcile the different Rayman games into a cohesive universe and a consistent storyline. I remember spending entire afternoons inspecting every detail of the maps from the different Rayman games, in an attempt to chart the entire Glade of Dreams, including locations from every single game. I would print those maps, cut them, paste them together, and draw the rest of course. The problem is, I would often change my mind about it and start from scratch because of a tiny detail I realized didn't make much sense, and one day I used all of the printer's color ink. It still is pretty expensive nowadays, but it was even worse then. As a matter of fact, I wasn't even allowed to print in color.

At that time, our cat Mr. Whiskers had gone missing, and when my dad got back home that night, he proceeded to print a bunch of lost pet posters to put up in the neighborhood. When he found out there was no ink left, he stormed into my room, looked at my dozens of maps, didn't say a word, took me to the garage and beat the hell out of me with a set of jumper cables.

I think I prefer his personality in Rayman 2. The only 2 things I found funny about him in Rayman 3 are the way he screamed aaahhh and when you hit him he either says "I'm a lover, not a fighter" or this is the funny one imo "You were nicer in Rayman 2".

In terms of humor, Rayman 3 for sure, especially during the Longest Shortcut. Flashes of dimness in that tiny brain of his.
In terms of usefulness, I’m debating over 2 or origins ( I haven’t played legends so I’m not counting that). In origins he can be controlled instead of Rayman and he’s not a coward anymore, but in Rayman 2, he’s lovable and still helpful.
