i feel like i've kinda spoiled it though, but at the same time, i think it was reaching a saturation point.

Some people were still falling for it (idiots like me) but when I did manage to figure it out, it was funny looking at how confused some of the others were and I just laughed at myself for not noticing it :)

There was no point dragging a joke out too much like Seth MacFarlene does

Like that time you fell nose-first into a skunk's asshole on an unusually cold day, and the lack of surface tension on the skunk's superfluid spray caused it to seep through your sinuses and directly into your brain. From then on you were known as...

wait

I just remembered last night I dreamt I was browsing RPC and Plum had changed his name to Voodoo, probably because I fell asleep making a 3dfx Voodoo 2 meme on Facebook. Why Plum though? Maybe what happened to you actually happened to me...

No don't get me wrong. I love Family Guy but you know what I mean. Bird is the word for example where it dragged out for the entire episode and then they brought it back in another one lol. I still find it funny anyway the way he repeats the jokes so much but you know what I mean, you just don't want the joke to grow stale.

Oh yeah, then I totally agree. Repeating a joke can be super funny, but it has to catch you off guard every time, since laughter is a physiological response to relief in the midst of surprise after all.

To be fair he does catch you off guard a lot if you've never seen the episode before so I'll give him that :)

I also actually couldn't stop laughing at that episode first time I seen it especially when Brian and Stewie brought the record out to smash it and Brian was trying to pull him back because he took it too far

Didn't Mr. Burns say Homer shot him

But the best part was when Kool-Aid crashed into a building suddenly and the audience was super silent.

It wouldn't even bother me I'd still play it and I know very little French or German. I know more French than German but only stuff like:

Je m'appelle Stephen
Lundi Mardi Mercredi Jeudi Vendredi Samedi Dimanche
Un deux trois quatre cinq six sept huit neuf dix

I done French club in school for a few weeks when I was like 9

Also that Irish is Irlandais and Ireland is Irlande

Pardon my French  (I'm really sorry for that one)

Aside from all that I'm really enjoying this version of Rayman 2, it's actually really good. I'm in the "Hall of Doors" instead. It may have half the framerate and resolution and much lower textures than the Dreamcast but it's actually still a really good game. It's not all about the graphics :)

And the PS1's Hall of Doors is completely different from the PC's and N64's, so you're always in for something new!

That's cool. The new ones are all the same so it gets a bit boring playing the exact same game again on another platform one after the other but suppose I can space them out.

It's great that 2 has all these little changes on everything that make it interesting to replay. First thing I noticed is after seeing Revolution then playing this PS1 copy, the voices in both games are different or re-recorded as you can clearly hear the difference at the intro when Globox gives Rayman the silver Lum.

Edit: Made a few errors here and just deleted this part but yeah the game has a lot of differences on PS1 vs Dreamcast. Like for example the Cave of Bad Dreams is no longer entered through The Marshes of Awakening.

Edit 2: And Where's Top of the World

Just beat Razorbeard there in the PS1 version. I have to say I enjoyed the game a lot and the ending was hilarious

Thanks @Ray502 for recommending it when I said I was just gonna skip the PS1 version :D

Really looking forward to playing Revolution now when I get it and starting over in the Dreamcast version. The story is definitely far more interesting than Rayman 3 but 3 has the better replay ability. Saying that I'd still even replay this PS1 version no problem so imagine what I'll think of Revolution :)
