The magic number of Rayman Release dates.

Post by Polokus »

Honestly i'm not thinking too much into this I just found it quite amusing.

Rayman was released, then 4 years later Rayman 2 was released. Then keeping to the theme 4 years after that we got Rayman 3.

But then 8 years went by (4+4) until Origins, Then 2 years later Legends.

and to top it off 4 years later (2017) Michel makes the post about wanting to make another.

I've not included games like M but if I were to that was released 2 years after Rayman 2! then 2 years after was R3

4, 4, 8, 2, 4.
or
4, 2, 2, 8, 2, 4. inc. M

for some reason (obv coincidence though), Rayman games get released in accordance to the number 4 (halved or doubled)

and yes I have too much time on my hands

wouldn't there be 2 important magic numbers for rayman releases (4 and 2) due to R2: TGE's years released after R1 and RL's years released after RO

Was RRR not released in 2007 also meaning another 4 between R3 and RRR then 4 between RRR and Origins? I know RRR isn't really the same but it's still a Rayman game.

Edit: never mind that was RRR2 but RRR was 2006. The pattern is screwed up just don't count the RRR series then
