Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Crystal shards like the ones in R2?
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Is it the fork from the Jaguar version and Rayman Designer?
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Steo, please use the offical names, I don't know which crystal shards you're talking about, however that's still not it.Steo wrote:Crystal shards like the ones in R2?
That doesn't stick to the ground/wall.Aaron wrote:Is it the fork from the Jaguar version and Rayman Designer?

Oh, yeah, you're right.Greeness wrote:That doesn't stick to the ground/wall.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Was referring to the ones on Cave Of Bad Dreams but I don't think they're found on walls anywhere actually.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Oh, you're talking about the shards that appear during Geno's chase sequence, like you said those cannot be found on walls.Steo wrote:Was referring to the ones on Cave Of Bad Dreams but I don't think they're found on walls anywhere actually.

Heh, I read Crystal Shards and thought of Kirby 64.
As for my guess, the Thumb Tacks from Picture City?

Hmm, I think we need to alter what we give clues about. It can be difficult when there's so many possible answers and the players are trying to find the one the clue giver is looking for.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
That's wrong, while the drawing pins usually stick to walls, the ones that act like platforms Rayman can stand on are not connected to anything.
I'll give out another clue if the next guesser cannot find the correct answer, or if it takes a longer time then necessary.
My first clue was certainly not detailed enough, however now I think there's a chance someone will get this.Ray502 wrote:Hmm, I think we need to alter what we give clues about. Spiky flowers?
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Those don't have to stick to anything.
C4: It's a stationary object, that upon impact damages the player.
C4A: The object will always have to stick to the ground or a certain wall.
C4B: The object is a part of a recurring enemy species in the Rayman series, however this type of the enemy makes his first appearance a long time after their original debut.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Is it those Darkroots that are found in some Origins and Legends levels? That's the only one I can think of that sticks to walls too.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
You're getting closer to it! However I would say the Darkroots themselves go through walls rather then sticking to them, which by itself is something that they don't always do.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
At least it was a better guess and I used the official name this time to avoid confusion (apologies for the confusion over other answers as I have to remember, people can't read my mind)

That's not stationary.

It's alright, just make sure to always check the wiki before answering.Steo wrote:At least it was a better guess and I used the official name this time to avoid confusion (apologies for the confusion over other answers as I have to remember, people can't read my mind)
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Seems like I didn't estimate how difficult it would be to find my pick.
I'll wait another 12 hours before giving my next clue, which will reveal the object's first game appearance, and if that doesn't get the correct answer, I'll have another clue about the object's enemy species.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
Or you could give a completely different (and easier) clue. Not to be pushy at all but the pace needs to pick up sooner rather than later.
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 8
I may just do it now then, don't want to drag the game's pace too much.Ray502 wrote:Or you could give a completely different (and easier) clue. Not to be pushy at all but the pace needs to pick up sooner rather than later.
The answer was a Spiky Darktoon.
C5: It's an attack controlled by the player, that stops after a certain peroid of time.

Shock Rocket?
