< bit the bullet and bought a new router for €100 in Currys PC World. If this problem had arisen four weeks later < would have tried building <'s own but < just has too much to deal with right now.
Of course, now that < has spent money on it, the issue may magically go away without < actually doing anything.

Also while looking for products < discovered that Maplin shall soon be no more. < went in and was tempted to buy a drawing tablet, but even with clearance prices it would have been… a significant investment, let's say…
