Re: Rayman Origins
I wasn’t even aware you had posted about Rayman 2 I was just here talking about my favorite songs of Raymans origins. Which tricky treasures is a part of.
Re: Rayman Origins
Origins. They're levels where you chase a treasure chest that are a bit unfair until you know the pattern. The Land Of The Livid Dead is harder though.

Re: Rayman Origins
Once again I knew that I’ve only played one of those kinda of levels. I sucked and failed miserably. I posted on the favorite song thread a song from this game but I haven’t posted ALL of them yet
Re: Rayman Origins
I love the music off The Tricky Treasure levels, the banjo sounds cool
EDIT: Another one I like is The Land Of The Livid Dead: Chasing A Dream

Re: Rayman Origins
A lot of favorite ones are the darktoon chases. Especially the Serendipity Sea one. Heart pounding!!
Re: Rayman Origins
I love that Sea Of Serendipity one. Huna ne-na-nu

Re: Rayman Origins
I really had no idea what the words meant in that song
Re: Rayman Origins
They're not even words as far as I know but it's catchy. I think it's just Raymanian

Re: Rayman Origins
Who knows? About half the songs I hear from this game are Pig latin (raymanian). Maybe, I could be wrong.

Re: Rayman Origins
I remember the first time I tried the Tricky Treasures. I thought, "well that's another item to add to my list of reasons why I hate country music". I don't mind it anymore though!
As far as I know none of the Origins tracks have intelligible lyrics, not even Pig Latin.

Re: Rayman Origins
I don't know why but I just think the banjo sounds cool imo
I'll admit though some of them Tricky Treasure levels were a nightmare especially on my first playthrough. I remember cursing and saying it's impossible like why did they even make it that impossible. It turns out though it's just one of those unfair levels that works on memory then gets easy once you know what's going to happen.

Re: Rayman Origins
The tricky treasure level that I played the level itself was dark (the background was blue but the characters and the platfoms were black, which made it that much harder for me to pick up quick.
Re: Rayman Origins
Oh yeah. I remember playing that one in Legends, where all you can see are silhouettes. That's the first one I played in Legends in Back To Origins.

Re: Rayman Origins
THAT's what I was thinking of, but weren't there any in Origins? I was playing a demo and I found a silhouetted Tricky Treasure level. Maybe I am thinking of the wrong game? Otherwise the only other level I played was the first one. Don't remember why I stopped playing though.Steo wrote:Oh yeah. Re: Rayman Origins
They're all in Origins, but some (all?) are reproduced in the "Back to Origins" parts of Legends.

Re: Rayman Origins
I had a feeling they would do that, I noticed some of the soundtrack from Origins was brought into Legends also. I may not have played through these two games fully yet, but I know the soundtracks.
Re: Rayman Origins
I actually don't remember a silhouette one in Origins itself though unless I'm wrong. I think all the Tricky Treasures were in Back To Origins also.

Re: Rayman Origins
I think the first time I played it was a demo. I bought the one for 3DS awhile later but I haven’t gotten anywhere for reasons I won’t disclose at this time. Think I’ll start playing it soon now that I’ve gotten over the first-time jitters.
Re: Rayman Origins
Brilliant game imo. I actually have to play the PC version and finish the VITA one. Also might play the Wii version for lols but I don't think I'll go for 100% on that one. Might play the 3DS version too but it's the only version that goes 30fps while the rest are 60fps. Not too sure why a 2D game is capped at 30fps while my modded overclocked New 3DS can run Rayman 3D at 60fps. Still could be fun to play though.
Re: Rayman Origins
I found a video who seem to be a very early build of Rayman Origins.
