Alliteration Conversation
Um...hi everybody. This is my first topic post, so here goes. I'm sorry if the title is weird, I had no idea what to call this! I wanted to make up a game that goes like this:
You make up a sentence where 3 or more words start with the same letter. For example.
Good example:
Chocolate chip cookies are chewy, crispy and delicious.
Edit1: Here are the rules:
At least 3 of the words should start with the same letter you're using.
The words can have no less than 3 letters (no "an" if you're using A for example)
Edit2:
The letter at the beginning of the last word of a poster's sentence will decided the letter the next poster must use (In the above example, the next person would have to use D).
Because of the above rule, the following letters are not permitted: K, X (this rule is subject to change).
Make sure the sentence makes sense and not sound like gibberish!
And I think that's it! Hope this goes alright! So here goes:
Better hope I butter my buns for my burgers.

Re: The Alliteration Sentence Game!
Interesting idea, I’d instigate other injunctions instead:
Maybe each post should try continue the conversation rather than being a random sentence, and I don’t imagine it should be necessary to state the letter. What do you think?

Re: The Alliteration Sentence Game!
Hmm, you're right actually, it really shouldn't matter whether the letter should be stated, that way the thread will flow better. And I actually don't mind having it be a conversation either so I think it's a good idea! I think I am just overthinking a little bit.Ambidextroid wrote:Interesting idea, I’d instigate other injunctions instead:

Re: The Letter in a Sentence Game!
Maybe every time a new user should continue the sentance, and suggest a new letter that the person who posts next to him will have to follow?

Re: The Letter in a Sentence Game!
I can imagine that being incredibly difficult, especially if someone suggests an uncommon letter
As for the name, how about "Alliteration Conversation"?
Just a suggestion.
Anyway, back to the game:
Tonight I tipple tasty tea while trying to tackle a timed maths test.

Re: The Letter in a Sentence Game!
That was something else I was thinking about, since X and Z are kind of hard to come up with a good sentence. And i changed the name againAmbidextroid wrote:I can imagine that being incredibly difficult, especially if someone suggests an uncommon letter![]()

This morning I munched on macaroni and cheese while meagerly meditating on math.

Sounds super scrumptious! The second sounds sorrowfully soul-numbing.

It’s perfectly peaceful and private to meditate especially when you’re trying not to provoke people from pestering you in public.
Re: Alliteration Conversation!
I found topics that tip too much brains over before, but this topic just does not take too much time to get used to and it really takes the cake.

Re: Alliteration Conversation!
It does feel desirable, dandy, and easy when I don’t have to direct what dialogue I’m saying downright.
Re: Alliteration Conversation!
I'm gonna do one with only one letter

Re: Alliteration Conversation!
As long as this thread doesn’t turn into a bunch of thorough random gibberish, that is ok. This is the third post I’ve made I think, and now I’m thirsty.

I must say that Bowser is one of my favourite characters.
Who else makes mischief moving around with the minions? Many others, maybe.
