Opinions on Rayman Raving Rabbids: Tv Party
In my opinion the game is very Mediocre. The Plot Sucks, Only 2 of the Cut-scenes made me laugh, but the Mini-Games are really fun, and the idea of the Rabbids in a TV is very good. As for the DS version, it's a okay little Board Game with Nice Artwork and Mini-games.

Never played it personally, my interest with the Rabbids series stopped after playing RRR2, however I will say that your opinion seems to be reflecting the general reception of the game.

Honestly, i think the DS version is better than the Wii version. Because, we can control Rayman (Only in board game and in the minigame "Catch the Rabbid" but it’s stil better than the Wii version.), the plot is a little better. (Instead of having the Rabbids who only invaded the tv of Rayman, we have the Rabbids who probably invaded all the tv in the world and Rayman stop them.) And finally, i find some minigames actually fun in this version. But, i consider Rayman Raving Rabbids : TV Party (Wii version) as the worst Rayman\Rabbids games.

I wish the ds version was like the RRR ds version, a 2d platformer

I only liked the 2d platformer versions of RRR, though I stopped after the first one, because I lost interest afterwards. In fact, I'm quite glad that those two series split, I think the rabbids are better off on their own (just putting it mildly).
