Re: The You Game!
< guess that things can happen, no system is perfect. For example, < still has to continuously edit <'s signature so that < can rotate songs.
< finds it surprising not only for that but the fact that < didn't even notice the first quotation mark was...flipped (< think that's the best way for < to put it).
Re: The You Game!
^ should notice that everything does that to an extent. < notices that on most places online, views don't go up making it look like nobody is viewing something, but then if < checks again it will have gone up by a lot out of nowhere. < says a lot of it just checks at intervals and that < could go offline and have it still tell ^ that < is online.
< thinks if that updated in like 1 second intervals, everyone would be using a much slower RPC
If I were ^ I'd be more worried about the forum clock being behind
Also might ^ be referring to these ʼ which SwiftKey (<'s keyboard on <'s s8) can also do?

Re: The You Game!
yeah iOS seems to flip “<’s” / “^’s” automatically (they’re not even proper words). Needless to say < always enters quotation marks manually if iOS gets confused. The Jonster wrote:Yes, < was indeed using <'s iPhone to post that message.Fifo wrote:< sees <’s not the only one who has an iPhone. :pThe Jonster wrote:< would love to find <‘s old phone so that < can download all the Rayman games on mobile. Ah right < gets it. “< has to do that manually on <ʼs phone”

< gets freaking annoyed when <'s words/quotations get auto-corrected by <'s iPhone. But yeah thanks for the point out guys
< has known that for awhile now, it doesn't really bother <. < worries more about how people are feeling, not too much about other things.Steo wrote:If I were ^ I'd be more worried about the forum clock being behind

< thinks the forum clock should worry us all. It can result in replies being inserted before the posts they refer to, and other nasty errors.

Re: The You Game!
Oh yeah, < forgot about that. That has happened to <, though usually, < is told beforehand by the system if someone posted before < finishes a reply on a board, though sometimes <'s post just ends up on there in a totally weird area, and < feels embarassed and like an eejit when that happens. (< seems to be adopting eejit more easily than idiot...sounds less insulting to <).PluMGMK wrote:< thinks the forum clock should worry us all. Re: The You Game!
< just used the word eejit again not knowing ^ had also used it here. This site is turning into EPC with me being the eejit
About the clock though, < doesn't mind it being wrong but < knows that what ^^ mentioned could confuse people. < has thought a few times how could < miss that reply when < just checked but it's telling < a post from 4 minutes ago is there that never was

Yes, ^ is indeed an eejit for putting "me" in ^'s sentence. JkSteo wrote:< just used the word eejit again not knowing ^ had also used it here. This site is turning into EPC with me being the eejit
Even though the clock is off by 4 minutes, < is ok with that because, and > quote:

Great < really is an eejit, now Ray502 has to deduct "me" of 1,000,000 tingsThe Jonster wrote:Yes, ^ is indeed an eejit for putting "me" in ^'s sentence. Jk

You can disable that you knowThe Jonster wrote:< gets freaking annoyed when <'s words/quotations get auto-corrected by <'s iPhone.
< usually has it enabled tho.
Re: The You Game!
< sees that ^ has disabled Auto-Correction. < constantly complains about it, yet never disables it. What's wrong with <

Re: The You Game!
< used to like Samsung's Swype, and was happy that Google implemented a similar feature on their "Google Keyboard", and the "AOSP Keyboard" that is its FLOSS basis. Unfortunately, the feature doesn't seem to work on LineageOS 14.1, which has been <'s mobile OS of choice for the past year and a half or so.
< just threw a "citation needed" on Wikipedia for the first time while ago.

< is usually the same apart from just there in hangman acknowledgement was spelled "acknowledgment" because it's the US term. < feels a bit like an eejit nowFifo wrote:Yeah < always has it disabled. < can spot most typos in a few secs
< might just disable that now. IOS auto correct is a lot worse than the swiftkey auto correct <'s using but either way both are annoying.
EDIT: < wonders does ^ think LineageOS is stable at this stage?

< is like that too for spelling typos, but < is not as good in finding certain punctuation errors.Fifo wrote:Yeah < always has it disabled. < can spot most typos in a few secsSteo wrote:< sees that ^ has disabled Auto-Correction. < constantly complains about it, yet never disables it. Honestly ^, < doesn't like autocorrect in general, < prefers to just fix it <self if there is an error in <'s typing.

Re: The You Game!
< says Lineage's stability varies widely from device to device. For instance, it's excellent on the Motorola Moto E (though it wasn't when < first started using it!), but on the FairPhone 2 it leaves a lot to be desired in that department. < hasn't actually tried it on any other devices, but if you have a popular one that's been around for a while, it should be good.
< is surprised that there is so little maintenance on the FairPhone 2 version. That phone was supposed to place an emphasis on openness and co-operating with third-party projects, but in the end only a couple of people have made anything custom for it on XDA-Developers. < wonders if Lineage would be more stable if < used the stock kernel with it, since heat seems to be part of the issue…
