Re: The You Game!
< FINALLY got <'s bloody powerline adapter to pull its thumb out of it's arse lower 8P8C port after 2 hours of soul rending diagnostics, and it's finally deciding to work.

Ok, < would like to leave it at that before < somehow gets another idea to post something that sounds hilarious, utterly ridiculous, or incorrect, grammatically/mathish or otherwise. < gets that it's not right to post something like that, < won't do it again. Sorry.PluMGMK wrote:< will also save Humch the bother (whenever he reads this conversation) of pointing out that kets look like |ψ〉, not 〈ψ〉.PluMGMK wrote:< finally figured out <'s real objection to Jonster's use of angle brackets: there's no reason to enclose single letters in them, since they just indicate how words or segments thereof are spelled. So one can say that 〈s〉 can be pronounced either /s/ or /z/, or one can equally validly say that 〈-ough〉 has a bewildering multitude of pronunciations.
Ah, that's better.

Huh? <'s comment about kets was directed at <'sself. In fact, everything < said was more introspection than admonishment. You can post whatever jokes you want!

Re: The You Game!
Oh that was the reason? Boy, < is getting really bad at trying to read people, < hates how naive < is. < needs to stop thinking that everything is <'s fault.
< is such a silly fecking eejit (it sounds so much better to say than fucking idiot for some reason)
Edit: < acknowledges that < has flaws in <'s personality that will often shock/hurt other people.

You're not alone
<'s going through a bit of a phase of picking up hobbies, <'s started learning guitar (kind of) and <'s considering picking up where < left off with <'s C++ book. <'s also spent a lot more time than usual playing rhythm games. < thinks it's < subconsciously putting off doing revision for <'s upcoming exams
Re: The You Game!
Haha. < is learning still. At least < won't buy inferior products and get ripped offHoodcom wrote:< has had quite a bit of discussion with ^ regarding game systems or audio.
< has much to teach ^, still.
< might even build <'s own speakers just for the sake of DIY but < doesn't need anything crazy which is clearly obtainable for the right price.

If it makes you feel better, < doesn't really know what you're talking about with that. < is sorry that you took <'s messages personally. < could really have worded them better. The Jonster wrote:< acknowledges that < has flaws in <'s personality that will often shock/hurt other people.
Reminds < of that snow weekend < spent doing Dynamical Systems homework. It was really just to seem busy but at the same time avoid starting all those other assignments involving report/essay writing. Well, at least they're all done now!Ambidextroid wrote:< thinks it's < subconsciously putting off doing revision for <'s upcoming exams
Speaking of which, < actually got full marks on that assignment < handed in with five minutes to spare the other day. < is relieved, but < wouldn't really have given <'sself full marks for it.

< really can't make him <'s mind with the parts selection for that impedance test setup. < will give it a few days before settling on a selection.

Re: The You Game!
No, it's ok ^^. < has already gotten over it. As for <'s personality, < thinks it's just natural, as explained here...< thinks.

Though < is going to look back at this years from now and think, "Boy < was such an eejit back then."Ambidextroid wrote:To err is human... or something...

Lol this reminds < of the times that < would always procrastinate to turn in all of his homework in college. Unlike ^^, < would usually not be as successful in doing that, since < is so bad at being lazy back then that < would often turn in hwk late or turn in homework at the last second that is imperfect and flawed. But that's how < thinks < learns, through <'s mistakes.PluMGMK wrote:Speaking of which, < actually got full marks on that assignment < handed in with five minutes to spare the other day. < is relieved, but < wouldn't really have given <'sself full marks for it.
Re: The You Game!
< has had enough of this PAL nonsense and is going to collect NTSC versions of those inferior consoles. < has ordered an NTSC Genesis (PAL modded Mega Drive has slight timing issues, 59.91hz vs real NTSC 59.94hz causing timing issues on some TV's).
<'s modded SNES seems fine though and has no issues as it has 2 different crystal oscillators (one for PAL and one for NTSC).
< needs an NTSC NES next though which will probably be a problem to find and cost a lot. < isn't sure about bothering with an NTSC PS1 as the PS2 with FCMB can already run out of region stuff and <'s Gamecube has a modchip so it already plays out of region games as does <'s original xbox. Most PS2 and up PAL games are full speed anyway.
< literally actually just needs an NTSC NES now and then < is sorted, provided < can find one or maybe even a Famicom

Re: The You Game!
Ugh, it’s so hot and humid out here that < is worried <‘s mood will get much worse being out here, which is bad since < is in the middle of calming down from being mad. < has lately been overthinking about everything lately that < caused < freaking mood swings to pop out.
Re: The You Game!
Everyone has a day like that eventually. It just takes so much pushing buttons.
< has moved onto playing DK Country Returns having never played it and it seems like a great game (thanks Plum
)
< remembers seeing it new out in the shop years ago and < thought nah that's just some 3D game trying to say it's the SNES DK Country to get people to buy it. < has to stop doing that. < done the same with Rayman Origins and waited 6 years to play it and same with Legends where < waited over 3 years to play it. < only even had Rayman on <'s mind when < seen the switch demo of definitive edition and tried it then realised it was good. < also had Origins free on PC and Xbox so decided to try it then and loved it, joined here shortly after, played all the others, <'s rambling.....
EDIT: < just seen a very similar looking "plant" in DKCR and wonders is it the one Plum is referring to

Re: The You Game!
Phew! < has finally returned to being cheerful, < feels the mood swings have returned < to normal. < is still not home though since < still has errands to do.
Edit: Btw < thinks it has been a long time since < decided to NOT put <self on hidden status, though < will put it back on soon.

Re: The You Game!
So < has been trying to get a couple of questions ready for season 112 by brainstorming / procrastinating in advance instead of leaving it until the last minute. < would never even study for school yet < is studying study some Rayman trivia / playing games to find out stuff and < finds it interesting
< knows there's still like 9 days to go but < just doesn't want to screw up big time. Funny because < always leaves everything until the last minute and never prepares for anything... ever

Re: The You Game!
< is getting rather frustrated with QuickBooks, which < will likely need to try to redo the QuickBooks server setup to see if < can make it work better on an actual server vs a desktop setup.

Re: The You Game!
< was thinking of the past again....so many good memories. Why, < remembers this one friend < had back in college that < would normally talk to after class, and even after < graduated and both she and < left town. But lately < hasn't heard from her. < hopes that she is ok in Virginia with her life and her "boyfriend". < actually used to regret the day that < graduated, < ironically wished < had actually failed <'s last exam in Reverse Software Engineering instead of squeaking by. < did not feel < was ready for real world life at the time, considering how poor that < was in job searching and < didn't think < was good enough with <'s programming work. < has gained more confidence over the past 1 1/2 years since graduating, though, and hopes < can get a good job soon with renewed aggression. Still, < feels kind of bittersweet remembering those memories...
