On a related note, < hates how convoluted GNOME has gotten (as do many Linux users, and it's hardly new news at this point). Upgrading certain packages causes GNOME Shell to start crashing unless that package itself is reinstalled. And get this, it crashes with
JS errors!

A lot of substandard code seems to make it into release quite often too… < grudgingly uses GNOME though, because of all the Wayland innovations they're pioneering, like pointer constraints (the reason < finally relented and installed a desktop environment at all, instead of just using Sway) and tablet support.
