Re: The You Game!
< isn't accusing ^ of spamming, < was just joking with ^ because ^ told someone else not to double post

Silly ^!! < knows that!
< is curious who ^ told though...
Re: The You Game!
Does ^ hear these bells ring? < sure does

Oh....you meant <. Clearly < wasn't paying attention

< is not so sure of that, < is just as guilty of making as many mistakes as ^.
Re: The You Game!
I bet ^ never put a screw through a Dreamcast motherboards traces like < did then had to buy a new board
Tbh the board cost < €8 from USA but €20 shipping then < had to convert it to PAL to make it read <'s retail games

Re: The You Game!
< wonders how ^ did that. < tried fixing <'s old ASUS laptop but then < hit a spot where < couldn't remove the screw any further without (soldering?) so < had to give up. It wasn't as if < could get any of that done in a dorm room without blowing something up considering how inexperienced at fixing < is.
Re: The You Game!
Well < had to get the NTSC board, test it with <'s RGB cable (it powered on with the NTSC orange logo at 60Hz) then < had to completely disassemble the unit, solder a cable to a certain point on the board and then feed that to 12v from the power supply. Then < had to turn it on and run a special region changing disc (burned CD-R) and set it to EUR and 50Hz. After that < just removes that cable from 12V and taped it up
The cable needed a 12 volt feed otherwise the region change wouldn't work
It then powered on at 50Hz with the blue logo

Re: The You Game!
< see, < think < has changed the region of a disc once before, but < doesn't remember how < did it.....
Anyway < is thinking of changing all the videos < posted in a thread.

Re: The You Game!
< might be bad at a lot of stuff but Rayman and fixing / modifying consoles isn't one of them.
< actually took a knife to a trace on <'s saturn and now just needs an SPDT toggle switch to complete the 50/60Hz mod

< is actually thinking of using a knife to fix <'s stuck key on <'s keyboard. Though < will try tomorrow.

< wonders does ^ refer to a Laptop or PC?

Oh, <'s laptop. < doesn't have a desktop these days. < has finally changed all <'s videos in the funny video thread.
Re: The You Game!
While a laptop is more portable, < prefers to use <'s desktop although < has a laptop too. ^ knows laptop keyboards can be replaced though right? If ^ pulls the one key out, it might be a pain to get the scissor clip back in. Depending on the laptop, it may be easy to change the whole keyboard.

Re: The You Game!
Lol that’s true, though < hasn’t tried to ever do so before. < has done research in this though, so < has an idea. < used to have a desktop until < graduated high school when<‘s dad gave it away.
Re: The You Game!
if ^'s really stuck and hasn't got much money, < thinks ^ should use a USB keyboard on ^'s laptop for now

< is considering that too if < can’t find the problem behind the stuck key.
Re: The You Game!
< wonders is the key physically stuck or just pressing itself?

Re: The You Game!
Perhaps “stuck” wasn’t the right thing for < to say about the key, sorry, actually <‘s key is mmm....let’s say < has to press really hard on the key to make it work these days. < blames the sparkling water when it fizzed all over when < was drinking it next to <‘s laptop. < thought < cleaned it all off. < thinks there must be water damage inside that < didn’t detect at first.
Hmmm... < is thinking of some solution and a tooth brush....
