Re: The You Game!
The keyboard will have rubber pads under the buttons and <'s guess it that some of it seeped under that and caused a moisture buildup. ^ would need to somehow clean that and the only way ^ can have any chance at getting to it is to remove the button and maybe try get some alcohol under it.

Something tells < the best thing the best tool < will need for this is a toothbrush...along with that alcohol...and a knife. < thinks. <‘s key that’s malfunctioning is REALLY small but it’s the only one that’s malfunctioning. But without it < can’t move left when < is playing PC video games ( < managed to make a temp solution with <‘s other ems for the time being)
Re: The You Game!

Re: The You Game!
< just found out <'s cousin is attempting to run away from home (literally she's just sitting outside) and she is desperately trying to get <'s sister to pick her up and bring her to <'s house. She says that her father has returned and is leeching off their money. Basically it's just a mess in their family and < has no idea what < should be doing since <'s aunt says not to interfere with the affairs. Still, < is concerned that <'s cousin will be outside all night.....< is very concerned and very worried.

Perhaps < should just not get involved in this since it will probably lead to some whole bullshit mess later.
<'s head is a mess right now.

Re: The You Game!
<'s left hand keeps twitching intermittently all day. < hasn't had twitching in ages but <'s left pinky keeps swinging when it happens
It's like the outer of <'s left hand on the palm side it the area that's twitching causing the finger to jitter rapidly
It's also quite annoying.

Hm, ok. < will still be up though cause < wants to do some more digging through the threads.

Ouch!Steo wrote:I bet ^ never put a screw through a Dreamcast motherboards traces like < did then had to buy a new board![]()
< says that you don’t solder to remove a screw. Unless you mean welding a nut onto it.The Jonster wrote:< wonders how ^ did that. < tried fixing <'s old ASUS laptop but then < hit a spot where < couldn't remove the screw any further without (soldering?) so < had to give up. It wasn't as if < could get any of that done in a dorm room without blowing something up considering how inexperienced at fixing < is.

Re: The You Game!
Hahah, < did say < was a complete novice at trying to fix things, < didn't remember what the term was when < read the DIY so < carelessly said soldering.
< has no idea while <'s still up, < should go to bed if < wants to get up early!

Re: The You Game!
Oh and if ^ meant how did < put a screw through the traces, it's because the Dreamcast GD-ROM drive screws onto these 3 parts, but 2 are metal above the motherboard and take shorter screws. < didn't know so < used a long screw and in the worst place too.

Re: The You Game!
< still feels dumb about saying soldering I think the word < meant to say was removing the stripped/stuck (I’m not sure if these are the same thing) screw from <‘s very old laptop. That’s what < was trying to do since < was attempting to open the laptop since it wouldn’t start up correctly. But that’s a thing of the past now for <.
Re: The You Game!
Ah yes. < has had to deal with a lot of stripped screws. < has drilled the heads off those suckers many of time. < thinks one of the easiest methods to try remove a stripped screw is to put a rubber band over the head then push the screwdriver against it and turn. Chances are it'll grip it.
