While it's not my favorite to watch (unless Tiger Woods is competing), golf is my favorite sport to play. I used to play baseball and bowling, but I struggled with baseball and got bored of bowling regularly.

Chess! No good at it, but that didn't stop me from playing quite regularly during my secondary school years...

Re: What's your favorite sport to play
Skiing and volleyball. I played soccer for four years in elementary school, which was fun, though I'm not that interested in it as a sport. I played volleyball throughout high school, and, as my parents were both professional volleyball players, I was naturally good at and really enjoyed it, though never really pursued it since I had too many other things going on. Skiing's one of my favourite recreational activities now - I go pretty much every weekend during Winter. Haven't made it up much this year or last year though, unfortunately.
Bowling is fun for birthdays, though I'm not really sure I'd call it much of a sport.
A lot of my friends randomly got into basketball a couple years ago and we go to the courts every now and then, which is really fun. My legs are strong from skiing, but basketball is such an aggressive, full-body sport, I just don't have the cardio for it right now and after ten minutes end up hyperventilating on the ground. That and I need a sports bra for Christ's sake lol.

Ooh yeah, I had a bit of a chess obsession for like a year or two in elementary school, which ended immediately after joining a school chess club and thinking everyone in there was a loser. I don't think I've touched a board in like ten years, and it makes me want to hit up some online friends for a revival. I have no memory if I was good or not - probably not.PluMGMK wrote:Chess! Casual Football, throwing the ball has a really fun grip once you get used to it, and when the teams are balanced in terms of strengh, it could lead to many good times.
Chess is a sport I enjoy playing with my father on the accession, though we didn't have much time for it recently.

I also find Bowling to be enjoyable, but like you said It's something that is more fitting for a birthday party or a family meeting.Adsolution wrote: Bowling is fun for birthdays, though I'm not really sure I'd call it much of a sport.

"Sports" are usually considered to require physical exertion, though I guess you could say that applies hands on a keyboard/mouse/controller too, since not every sport requires you to run around obviously.Rayfist wrote:What about the people who list competitive gaming as a sport

Reminds me of the day the CEO saw me slouching in my chair during my internship last year. He didn't mind since I was clearly hard at work, but quipped that the "ergonomics people" wouldn't approve.

Well if it really was a sport, I'd be really good at it, though I prefer lying on a bed.
And I'll be even better when I get my job!

When I was a kid I was into swimming, so it's interesting to note how my tastes can change over time.

Re: What's your favorite sport to play
Lately I've been itching to go play competitive baseball again, but unfortunately I haven't played since 2015 and I don't know any nearby areas where they have leagues other than the local high school. I had a blast with my team mates when I was playing.
