Would you pay more taxes if it meant receiving a pension when you retire?

Yes, the state should guarantee a pension for its citizens.

Yes, but a mixed model would be more efficient (50% state + 50% private pension plan, for example).

No, the state does not have to manage my money; I prefer to have it myself and opt, for example, for a private pension plan.

I choose 6th generation, as many of my favorite games came out during this era, like Mario Kart Double Dash, Paper Mario:TTYD, Persona 3, Kingdom Hearts, etc. It took awhile for me since I was also debating gen 4, 5, and to a lesser extent, 7.

I'm going with 6th generation too. While I love the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and SNES, even loved the xbox 360 and I really like the graphics of todays games (can't say the same about the games themselves though), my favourite console of all time is still PS2. It just has so many good games. Also San Andreas is from that era and is probably one of my favourite games ever made.

I also used to love playing WWE RAW 2 on the original xbox with my uncle, we spent countless hours on that game playing Royal Rumbles etc.

My friend had a GameCube and for years I wanted one and used to play PSO or Mario Kart in his house. PSO was and is such a good game.

That said I still did like some PS1 release, mainly Rayman and Crash Bandicoot, but there were others.

Still though Gen 6 because of the PS2, xbox, GameCube and actually even the Dreamcast as it turns out. My friend had one and I always wanted to play Sonic Adventure. Turns out even though I only played the Dreamcast in 2018, it has my favourite version of Rayman 2.

Jonster is gonna kill me but I haven't played Sonic Adventure yet, I'm going to though since I have a Dreamcast :)

Edit: Gen 6 also had some good Tiger Woods golf games :hap:

You already stated that in the Sonic thread I think, so there’s more reason for me to be mad. I think we’re already even in a sense since I haven’t played the UbiArt games (and I’ll probably get quite a bit of flak for that)

Well I guess. You're probably going to tell me the same thing about Sonic Adventure, but personally the UbiArt games are great in my opinion having completed both of them more than once and I think you'll like them :)

What the fuck???!?!?!
My fecking auto correct changed "no real" to more.
My apologies, I must sound like an eejit.

What I meant was, I have NO REAL reason to be mad at you, since I haven't played either of the UbiArt games. :D But I know I'll like them when I try, I hope when you play Sonic Adventure, you'll like it the same way I did. Speaking of which....I should play some SA or SA2 tonight since I'm feeling nostalgic again.... :proud:

Oh and take note...turn off auto correct on iPhone.

I'll have to try them out. Either buy them or burn them since the Dreamcast can play burned CD-R. Preferably buy them.

I knew that's not what you meant because the sentence didn't make sense

6th generation would definitely do it for me, it was the era that personally introduced me to many game genres and was the first to have a great balance between solid gameplay and consistent graphics.

Whoa, 6th Gen is really running away with this

I like a lot of others too but the poll is only for favourite and that era was/is definitely my favourite. Even to this day the graphics aren't half bad on a lot of those games :)

I still find it fascinating when I think about how long video games have been around.

Seeing the first generation choice made me think of Pong. I searched the game using Bing and it led me to a game versus the CPU. I won my first game of Pong 5-4. So that was pretty cool. :)

Good ol' pong. It's well before my time but I've heard so much about it from my father :P

While the first game of Pong I played was fun, I can see how that would get boring after a while. :P

Yeah I played it for a few minutes in a class but got bored of it after an hour or so. Speaking of that class it was an example program where we were supposed to build a Pong game application from C. Of course I never finished it due to how extremely lazy o was back in college. :oops2:

I can see how it would get boring alright. My dad also reckons there was a version where the ball used to get faster and faster and the game would freeze when it got too fast so you had to press reset

Well, time for the next poll. Here's a suggestion that just came to me. Reword it if you like.

What is your opinion on downloadable patches/updates for video games/consoles?
