Re: Food
Well, the original intent I had in mind for this topic was to talk about your favorite foods but you can do whatever you want.Ray502 wrote:So is this a topic about food in general or strictly about our favorite foods?

Re: Food
I feel like there is a topic buried somewhere deep in this forum that dealt with favorite foods...I forgot which one though.
Instead I'm going to talk about interesting recipes I've come up with lately. So lately I did something curious and combined macaroni and cheese with mashed potatoes. I thought it wasn't going to taste good, but it actually ended being delicious. Perhaps because i used four cheese mashed potatoes...

Re: Food
Not any more horrible than me making some creamy chicken ramen, and then throwing random things in it to make it taste even more delicious and not that salty. I've thrown things like cottage cheese, sour cream, and spinach in there (that last one wasn't such a great idea).

Thank search bar.The Jonster wrote:I feel like there is a topic buried somewhere deep in this forum that dealt with favorite foods...I forgot which one though.
In seriousness, without question this topic can be about food in general, since this topic name does not mention favorites.

Argh, somehow the first and last of those had concurrent posts, so I can't merge them all together! *plumrage*

Re: Food
Aaron said that the original intent for this topic was about favorite foods, so bumping a favorite foods topic is not really needed. This topic can be more of a global thing; discussion about food and our favorite foods. The Jonster wrote:Thanks! I'll bump it later

Yeah in the end I decided to not bump it, some things are better left untouched
Hey Aaron, can we also talk about drinks here?

Re: Food
OK. No worries then.
So lately I've been making peanut butter and vanilla yogurt sandwiches to eat at midnight. Tangy, nutty, and delicious! Though yogurt definitely isn't the only thing I like pairing with peanut butter, I wonder if anyone else thinks of weird combinations like that on a sandwich?
