Re: The You Game!
When < was young, < remembers that <'s mom let < walk as a 2-yr old, and < promptly banged <'s head on the counter top of the island in <'s kitchen and caused <'s head to bleed and for < to permanently lose a portion of <'s hair such that a part of <'s head has no hair. Maybe someday < will post a picture of <'s head to show you all. That's what < remembers anyway though <'s mom/<'s aunt might tell < otherwise.

When < was really young, < used to get in trouble for taking the VCR's and Radio's apart

Re: The You Game!
At least ^ gets in trouble for taking things apart, < would usually get in trouble for practically breaking everything < touched
Ah memories..
Ah memories..
Re: The You Game!
< was curious as to how electronics worked so when < was very young < would just take <'s Dad's screwdrivers and take the electronic devices apart to see what the mechanics were like.
Of course < got punished and grounded many times for it

Re: The You Game!
< thinks that's a very good thing for a child to be doing, although yeah, probably somewhat destructive.
Reminds < of the time < was taking weekend classes on Electronics (aged about 8 or 9) and the instructor encouraged us to take things apart at home – but only things that were no longer in use, because the last thing he wanted was parents coming to him with "Little Johnny broke our DVD player and now you have to fix it!"

Re: The You Game!
< can only imagine that happening
< honestly learned a lot from just doing simple things like that though. That's the main reason < knows so much about fixing stuff though < bets ^ would know a lot more about electronics in theory than < does

< notices that in about 4 posts, ^^ will no longer be at the rank that ^^ desires.

Unless the links are dead...
All of the links do thankfully work, so <'ll certainly give these tools a shot later.

< had forgotten to get <'s glasses today. Maybe < should just drop everything < wanted to do today and just sleep off the pain that > has in <'s hands from typing all day.

< still can't really believe how the school year (especially this 2nd semester) for < has flown by. Didn't feel that long ago when < went to go see The Last Jedi in theaters during <'s winter break after completion of the 1st semester.

< congratulates ^ in that case for getting through junior year. < definitely thinks junior year is challenging. For < it was mainly because of rankings and SATs.
Re: The You Game!
< would also like to say well done to ^^ before < falls asleep

< was about to ask ^ what ^ was talking about when ^ congratulated <, but ^ seems to have edited it before < could quote ^....

Re: The You Game!
Yes, yes ^ was!

< thinks that waiting is a good idea. < remembers when < took the SAT in <'s junior year, < didn't prepare enough and only got 1900-something on <'s first attempt. After taking an SAT-prep class in <'s senior year, < got a 2100-something, which < guesses was good, but definitely lackluster when < compares <'s score to all of the geniuses in <'s class of 2012. (<'s high school was well known for its academics apparently) < still got in a good college thoughRay502 wrote:< says thanks to ^ and ^^.
