There is no reason why it should

i cant hear any tracks after the first one because the first one is allways too long, before i get to the exit sign

Snagglebee has modded it to play properly. Apart from that, I don't really know. Maybe he, or one of the others who worked on the project, has some insights?

At first I liked all of the world's music looping together, but then it got old fast. I much prefer a variation of music track(s) for each level like in the other versions.

Personally I could never experience the looping since I always finish the levels quickly, evenif I get nothing. Though it quickly got tiring to see the same song play at the beginning of each stage, and the most obvious examples for me were Bongo Hills and Mr. Stone's Peaks (some of the longest stages)
