It looks like it actually IS cropped a little, since I think when playing there is this black bar to the right and one on the bottom.

OK so you may be right about the resolution. Since you're limited to 768 vertically, in windowed mode it has to keep room for the task bar. I wonder is that the problem.

The 2 choices you have are to use a TV plugged into the computer that would support a higher resolution or use a dynamic resolution that's higher than what the screen supports.

480p is native for the N64 anyway but on Youtube, a 480p video is limited to 30fps. If you plan to use 30fps this won't matter but if you want 60fps it would have to be 720p.

Glide (1024*768) Jabo (1380*760) For some mysterious reason both decided to record in HD. I think I need to play the game fully on both sides to determine if they'll both still continue working in HD. I am so confused right now.

This computer is fecking broken!

Ah missing loading screens on Jabo I see. I'll check that on mine but mine has a GTX970 and I'm guessing you have Intel HD graphics? My laptop is also AMD so I can't even get a fair idea using that unless I try my brothers but it's not great :P

Your assumption is unfortunately correct. :?

I want to get a graphics card sometime in the future to remedy this problem if on my next laptop I'm stuck with ANOTHER shitty integrated graphics card.

Nah Intel HD should do fine for PJ64 though and even Rayman 3 tbh so I don't know what's going on there. What model of Intel HD is it? like 3000?

Before we do anything else I assume you have the latest driver for it?

It's already up to date

Ok here's the processor information for the Win8 laptop I'm currently using (I still don't know how to do attachments in BBcode):
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz

Hyperthreaded and HD4400 Graphics. That should be far more than enough for PJ64 as even old Dell PC's from 2000 could run it :P

I can check my brothers or ma's and see if they have Intel HD as a test :)

Alright. :hap:

I'll run some tests myself on this later to see if it will continue running HD. Still kinda surprised it did.

I'm getting deja vu from this.

Anyway...

I just completed more than half of RR and I'm already at the Pirate Mines.

Thanks! :)

Also congrats on finishing your recordings! :D

Oh and by the way, yeah, I created a second save file because I wanted to re-experience the game.

I might not get anywhere with this. But does anyone know anything about the CG scene in these trailers? the one showing Rayman with a red character. I think these come from the original concept for Rayman 2.

Holy crap! I've never noticed that red guy at 0:58, his limbless design does suggest that he was carried over from the original 2d prototype, but I couldn't tell you anything else about these CG scenes.

That red character for some reason reminds me of the Chilli Pepper from Origins, though that's from 12 years later so probably doesn't help.
