Re: The You Game!
Yeah, < much prefers physical copies, like <'s video games.
Re: The You Game!
< understands where ^^^ and ^ are coming from. It's similar to how < likes to use real consoles over emulators. < would much rather set up the real thing and play it despite the added effort of setup. < loves playing <'s actual consoles

Re: The You Game!
< helped ^ out regarding better video connectivity and the use of modern HDTVs with retro gaming.
Re: The You Game!
< says ^ certainly did. < can play <'s consoles on <'s 4K TV now without having to use a tiny CRT
< says the games actually look a lot better on the TV than < had expected also. < thanks ^ for ^'s help

Re: The You Game!
< finds the Vinyl Record setup very cool.
It Would feel Nice when you actually do something physically to make the music play.
It's Kinda more enjoyable that way. Though, < never had one of those things before.
A lot of people where < is Think that just because it is the modern days, there might be no need for that technology. < doesn't know.
But They make a big deal over modern things over things in the past.
< is saying that because < can Remember that < heard a little girl on the radio(through Some talk show station) saying that she doesn't like listening to MJ and Prefers Justin Bieber and she also said that "only old people listen to Michael Jackson".
< Would like to terminate that little girl.

Re: The You Game!
< wouldn't make much sense of such a phrase. If that was the case < thinks everyone here under 18 would never have played Rayman 1 because it was old meaning only old people would play it. < doesn't feel the world works that way. < thinks that if something is good then it's good, regardless of age.

< agrees with what ^ and ^^ are saying, if something is good (which Rayman is) < thinks that everyone should give it a chance to play regardless of age. The problem that < is seeing is that most of the newer generations are only introduced to what's today, and not what's in the past, so most kids just disregard everything else that was from years of old as ancient things. It disappoints < everytime < sees a little kid with a phone/tablet. Or maybe < is just wrong with everything, who knows?Steo wrote:< wouldn't make much sense of such a phrase. < likes JB today, but he is NOTHING compared to MJ.
Re: The You Game!
< knows that's just how technology is these days, but < doesn't think a kid should ever be allowed on a device with internet access at a really young age without adult supervision. Imagine what someone could click on by mistake and sometimes even google image search could bring up something explicit.
< thinks it's OK if they're just playing a kids game on a tablet that requires internet but < would be weary of them actually playing around with a browser if they're really young. <'s just sayin'.

Re: The You Game!
< understands that, and honestly < wouldn't be so bothered by what < sees if there's adult supervision, and also a bit of moderation is good too. < has a little cousin who is on her phone/computer nonstop, so that's probably why < is a bit uncomfortable seeing kids with electronic devices.
Re: The You Game!
Ah ^ sounds like <'s father when < was younger. < was told to only play the computer for an hour a day so < took forever to make progress in Rayman 1 being like 10 years old

Re: The You Game!
<'s father was like that too. Though < never listened since < has always been obsessed with video games the moment < started playing them.
O<G, ^ is making < sound like an old man (no offense) even though < is like nearly a year younger than ^.

Re: The You Game!
< understands their concern though, but < used to play for longer than an hour and lie too
< was still limited though as <'s dad would obviously know if < spent crazy hours on it. <'s dad was strict, but it worked out and < thinks he done alright

Re: The You Game!
Same for <'s parents. < would get to play on weekends only. Though < had a very bad habit of stealing <'s consoles/handhelds from <'s parents, though they usually find out very quickly. They were still pretty lenient with < about it though since < did well in school, barring college.Steo wrote:< understands their concern though, but < used to play for longer than an hour and lie too

< thinks that the restriction though was how < got into emulators as of ???. Kinda was the best thing < ever discovered, though < still prefers having the real hardware/games. Which someday < will go out and make that effort to acquire all the games/hardware < wants
Lol ^ ninja posted <. Oh, ^ picked it up again, < sees. PC/PS?Aaron wrote:As <'s playing Rayman 1 right nowSteo wrote:Ah ^ sounds like <'s father when < was younger. < was told to only play the computer for an hour a day so < took forever to make progress in Rayman 1 being like 10 years old
Re: The You Game!
< feels like playing Rayman 1 also and < just might
But yeah also < has had <'s consoles taken away countless times for misbehaving and one time it was just for swearing one day, though < sweared a lot that day

Re: The You Game!
< remembers the first time < sweared as a kid, though <'s parents didn'tnotice and < didn't start cursing regularly until high school.
This reminds < of all the days when < is was such a troublemaker and rebel. As most people here can see, < doesn't like rules.
THough < knows sometimes they're necessary, as < is older and is not as rebellious.
Oh, feck it, < is going to do a video walkthrough of the GBC Rayman games next after the 3rd save file even though < doesn't have them. Then again, < doesn't have a LOT of the games < wishes to do walkthroughs on, though < wants to own all of them in the future.
< hopes that people who do look at them won't look at < the wrong way just because < doesn't own them, since < isn't doing it to prove anything. < just wants to help people

Re: The You Game!
< still remembers cursing in front of <'s dad by mistake at age 10. <' s dad just said "what did you say" < tried to say "uh my back is sore".
< had really said "my back is bolloxed". <'s dad knew that and found it funny though < had panicked thinking < was in trouble

Re: The You Game!
< started swearing around 13, a bit later < chose to swear in English, and it followed pretty much until < was around 16 or so, and afterwards < became a communist slavaboo and < started to swear in Russian

Re: The You Game!
< remembers accidentally swearing in ??? when < was 9-10, although it really was an accident the first time. < thinks < said "son of a bitch" in some other language.
Though < didn't start cursing in English until < was 14-15, when <'s cousins practically destroyed <'s N64 controllers. Just made < so mad that day.
< can curse in different languages now these days, though < still chooses to swear in English, and more recently in Spanish and that language that < spoke of before. Though < is learning to curse in British and Irish too, thanks to the influence of being on here.

< finds if funny how we all suddenly started talking about swearing and cursing on this thread like what the fuck?
