Re: The You Game!
Yeah, <‘s phone is also acting shitty. <‘s phone actually FORCEFULLY logs < out when < switches networks so < has to log back in again, wasting more time than necessary. Fecking phone.
Re: The You Game!
< stays up until 5-7am a lot of days anyway so it's already the next day at that stage. Not getting tired though is the problem
Edit: That's not ^'s phone that's RPC because of the login keys

When < enters Netflix via <'s phone, sometimes it automatically signs < out and < didn't even touch anything. The Jonster wrote:Yeah, <‘s phone is also acting shitty. <‘s phone actually FORCEFULLY logs < out when < switches networks so < has to log back in again, wasting more time than necessary. Re: The You Game!
......ofc, < has missed something again. Oh well, < might as well just spam the forum with <'s antics then!

Ok no not really

< supposes that could be the case too.

< wonders if ^ has asked ^'s phone service provider if anything was wrong with it?R4Y_ANC3L wrote:When < enters Netflix via <'s phone, sometimes it automatically signs < out and < didn't even touch anything. The Jonster wrote:Yeah, <‘s phone is also acting shitty. <‘s phone actually FORCEFULLY logs < out when < switches networks so < has to log back in again, wasting more time than necessary. Re: The You Game!
< is over the moon now. So < finally got around to trying the custom GBI thingy because the Game Boy Player software for GameCube sucks. The reason it sucks is because it uses 59.94Hz while a Game Boy is supposed to be about 59.7Hz. The actual GB Player hardware is 59.7 while the TV is being set to 59.94Hz. See the problem? Yep of course, it introduces frameskip
But wow this GBI homebrew is amazing. It scales the perfect 160x144 and has really low input lag. It even uses the correct refresh rate and the OSSC syncs perfect with it. Man < loves the OSSC.
GameCube with GB Player and Rayman 2 in it, OSSC with the proper timing on it and everything is great.
There was one thing though, in order for it to work, it's outputting 240p, but the GBC is 144p and the GBA is 160p. This means it can't be scaled because 2x will have lots of the screen cropped off and there's no other way, if it's not at least 2x it will look blurry so it's 1x in the middle of the TV and kind of small.
< would have settled for that but what's that Samsung, the TV I got from you can zoom in? < zoomed in 34% both horizontally and vertically since 34% is the furthest horizontal zoom possible on the TV and < doesn't want to ruin the aspect ratio. The TV being 4K means even while zooming, it won't really affect the scaling at all. So < ran Rayman 2 on a GB Player with an OSSC in 5x.
Pfft, emulators

Re: The You Game!
Wow, < is glad to see that it works! More amazing Macgyver work from ^ there!
Sucks about the size though....

< wants to get the real copies sometime though.
And another GBASP. And another 3DS. And another....

Re: The You Game!
Heh. Nah <'s joking. < just loves real hardware so much that < went through all that effort of the setup when someone else would use VBA
< can use the GB player to get better copies of the music too since the RayTunes one is missing sounds. The GB player should produce clearer sound than the GBA itself.
< will go through all that to use real hardware though especially when it comes to Rayman

Re: The You Game!
< wants to do that in the future when < finally gets a job.
Real hardware and games will always have something over emulators and ROMS.
Rayman 2 is really testing <'s patience right now. First that slide, and now the walking shell is freakishly getting on <'s nerves.
<'s semi-blind playthrough is not going well even though the videos are

Re: The You Game!
< Must actually replay Rayman 2 again on Dreamcast and on PS1 also. < will get around to it and use the 4K TV
< still has to play the N64 version but < needs to modify <'s N64 first to either output RGB or HDMI.

Re: The You Game!
< says good luck with that.
< failed to 100% the Menhir Hills. Oh well, time to go through that agony again!

This stage is torturing < right now. Stupid walking shell!
Stay calm, <. Don't ragequit and throw something at the wall... :loll:

Re: The You Game!
Ooh, < finds that interesting
< hasn't played Pokemon in quite a long time and those are same games where < could make some more videos. Though..< will not show <self grinding or catching Pokemon they'll just be there.
< is at the Canopy but then the game froze again. Hooray.

Re: The You Game!
Did < mention that <'s game still stutters, only this time it's the music???

Thankfully it doesn't happen as frequently and there's no set location where it occurs so < just has to get lucky at this poitn.
(Get lucky. Haha

Re: The You Game!
That's quite a difference. < wonders if all the tracks can be ripped the way ^ is doing...correctly ofc.
< finally finished the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire. < totally failed that level. meh, < will keep the video < recorded JUST so < doesn't have to go through that bloody level again. <'s so far least favorite level in the PS1 version. The changes were quite interesting and unique though.

Re: The You Game!
<'s item from America which < had to pay customs for finally arrived, but < thinks it was well worth it. A beautiful custom LotR mug
Now < can drink tea, cocoa and booze like a true hobbit.
And <'s nails really need cutting...

Nice mug, ^!
Heh reminds < of when < got <‘s first mug. <‘s sister broke it and < got really pisses off so <‘s dad bought him another one. Wasn’t as nice but it was still wonderful. Hmmm < wonders where < put that mug..

Re: The You Game!
^ just reminded < when < got a Rayman Legends mug for <'s 13th birthday.
< unfortunately can't post a picture of it right now because <'s mug is currently in the sink and there's water in it.
But don't worry, < will show it later
