Re: Cartoon Shows
Season 6 was my favorite season for a long time, but Season 5 is slowly becoming my new favorite. So many classics on there. Just yesterday I watched The Last Temptation of Homer and Burns' Heir.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Cool, I really need to get more classic seasons on DVD. What's your favourite all-time episode?

Re: Cartoon Shows
Homer Loves Flanders is my all-time favorite Simpsons episode, also from Season 5.
My favorite Treehouse of Horror episode is the one about The Shinning from Season 6.
Do you got a favorite Simpsons episode yourself?

That is my favourite THoH episode too, but in terms of normal epsiodes.... I'm honestly not sure. I'll have to marathon the classic seasons and see if one particular episode stands out to me

Re: Cartoon Shows
So, the new Ducktales aired. Overall, I liked it. I've not seen much of the original, so I can't compare to it, but it's definitely an adventure oriented cartoon, as opposed to the comedy oriented reboots we've seen a lot of on Cartoon Network. There also appears to be an ongoing arc, namely in regards to the
I did get some of a Gravity Falls vibe from it, mostly from Webby, who feels like a Mabel Pines copy. Hopefully she does come into her own a little more, but it's the vibe I'm getting. I also think they need to do tweak Donald's voice a little, I know his voice is iconic and distinct, but it's very hard to understand him, which makes some of the more serious conversations hard to follow.
Other than those, I think it's a strong start, and it looks like I've got a new Cartoon series to follow.

Re: Cartoon Shows
So there's this new documentary on the Homer at the Bat episode from The Simpsons. It sounded interesting, so I got it recorded and I'll be watching it tonight.
The episode itself is really good. One of my favorites from Season 3.

A new trailer dropped for Invader Zim, this is probably the Nicktoons revival I was looking forward to the most.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Ooh, cartoons!
Man it’s been a....REALLY long time since I’ve watched any cartoons, since I’ve been mainly watching detective shows or cooking shows. Ah back then when I was a kid I spent many, many days watching them. I should go watch the old Spongebob cartoons again for the fun of it while I play some Rayman when I get home.
And that Invader Zim trailer is piquing my interest again.
Though I admit I hadn’t watched a lot of him back then, I should watch all the episodes at some point. Along with many other shows that I’ve become really behind on.

I also didn't watch every single episode(which is something I'll probably fix before the movie comes out), but I've seen enough to say it was unlike any other show from Nickelodeon and that it's one of my favorite shows from the channel. The Jonster wrote: Though I admit I hadn’t watched a lot of him back then, I should watch all the episodes at some point. Re: Cartoon Shows
I remember that the show was airing on Nickelodeon Belgium with a french dub before he’s shortly disappears from the channel for no reason.

Haha it was good. They interviewed some of the MLB players (and Simpson characters) from the episode, showed some brief clips of the episode and a couple of real life baseball broadcasters talked about the episode.
Re: Cartoon Shows
I'll bump this again because I didn't actually state what shows I watch last time aside from The Simpsons. I haven't seen any of them in a while, but I really like The Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park. It goes without saying that Spongebob Squarepants is another great one which I grew up watching. Aside from that I can be like a child at times sitting there watching cartoons, I'm not ashamed to admit that
Older stuff like Tom & Jerry, Wacky Races, Stop The Pidgeon and of course Scooby Doo are ones I loved watching years ago when they were actually on TV. I was also obsessed with The Rugrats as a kid.

Same Here and I watched a lot more on Cartoon Network as a kid.Steo wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 9:47 pm I'll bump this again because I didn't actually state what shows I watch last time aside from The Simpsons. The older ones like Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, Juniper Lee, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends are what I really liked.
But by seeing how Cartoon Network is NOW. I must admit that it is a waste of my time.
So I stick mainly with The Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park rather than cartoons that are made in the recent time of this modern age(which are presumably sh!t in my opinion).
I Don't find myself watching Television a lot as I used to. You Can probably guess why.
