We have to develop a better way of handling multiple raytunes codes on one page…

That would be great! Then I could put my favorite songs in my signature again. :D

So I recently got my hands on an early Wii U Kiosk demo of Rayman Legends, and I noticed in the files there were earlier variations of songs like Teensies in Trouble, so I thought it would be good to post these files here so that they can be added to RayTunes eventually: http://www.mediafire.com/file/2rdy89ujj ... _Sounds.7z
There is also another demo I have that probably contains more early tracks, but for some reason the file structure is different on the IPK files so I can't extract them right now.

While I don't see what you would gain by having a song in your sig apart from it taking up more room (also it used to make my pages load really slow and keep locking me out of RPC), it's still totally your decision.

Nah, I’m not interested anymore. I think months of me not having a Raytunes song kinda humbled me to the point where it really was just a passing trend for me. Sure I wouldn’t mind putting a song again, but it’ll probably just cause problems again because I post so much.

I think it's all fixed up now anyway. It's just up to you if you feel you'd like a song in your sig or not, that's literally your own choice.

I personally prefer quotes, since people are more likely to read the quote than play the song. It also depends on how much room in your sig it takes up, if you feel like sacrificing some quotes etc. to keep the sig small enough.

I think from looking at your sig multiple times throughout the course of the 6-7 months I've been here, I think mixing up my sig with quotes is better for me personally. I can always just use my other account for the "rotating" song instead. :P

But yeah it's great to see all the good changes that have come to RPC have fixed that particular problem.

You know now that I think about it I should have just had a whole list of music thought up instead of repeatedly posting "Space Junk Galaxy - 10 Hour Version" in every music thread on RD.

Yeah, the new server is better at handling many RayTunes BBcodes but it's probably best that we still avoid using it in signatures. :P

It was badly affecting me and I just kept getting locked out of the site. It probably just looked like I was complaining when I said it, but it was genuinely annoying me being locked out of RPC so many times

As I said before though we have Raytunes, so people don't need the songs in their sigs and they can just listen to them there :)

I think a member is basically just using up space in their sig by using songs, so it's kind of an inconvenience to them really.

EDIT: My phone had autocorrected "to" to "top" and when I just noticed it now, it actually annoyed me because it looked so stupid

It's a relief indeed that the old DDOS protection is gone. I'm pretty sure the current one is just as efficient but nowhere as annoying!

I haven't had the current one ever lock me out for no reason, so it's certainly not annoying :P

What do you guys think about a Facebook page for RayTunes? I thought I’d create one. -withheld-

I guess it can't hurt to have one, though I don't see many likes at the moment!

Accidentally I've seen in a TV today "Puss in Boots" (2011) - really cool animated series with the same character of the cat from Shrek and Antonio Banderas.
There was a great soundtrack, and near credits - music reminding Rayman Origins OST's spaghetti western style, which I really loved.
Maybe someone will be interested.
Original OST for PiB is released, but don't know with which tracks, though.
Cheers

Hi RPC!

Just posting here to give an overview of what I'm planning for RayTunes:
Soon™:
- Rayman Mini soundtrack (I'm working on it)
- Rayman Adventures soundtrack update (I missed a few songs)
- Rayman 1 soundtrack update with tracks from the recently discovered prototype
Later:
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
- Tonic Trouble DVD soundtrack

RayTunes is still alive! :)

Nice, I look forward to the updates. :)

I actually want to hear the soundtrack of Rayman Mini, I don't have anything to play the game on. :oops2:

You mean the one that fades out halfway through and then starts again?

Yeah. There are a few tracks in that demo, and some don't play correctly in-game, but the data is there. It seems this was before they decided to include an ending for each track, because these demo tracks loop.

I wouldn't recommend it. It might be not just the worst soundtrack in Rayman history, even worse than Rayman PocketPC, but one of the worst if not THE worst game soundtrack I've ever heard. On the same level as Crazy Bus. The word that comes to mind is "headache", for every aspect of it. Many of the tracks use a sample that sounds like a crying baby. The soundtrack is in a format that literally just gave me a headache while I was ripping it. Most of the tracks sound the same (and there are no track names). They left one of the only good tracks unused -- and it looks like it was meant to be the main theme. This soundtrack is making me question my choices in life, specifically the ones that led me to rip the soundtrack from this game. You could argue that this soundtrack's stink should be interpreted as a statement that makes it unique and beautiful in a way that's similar to abstract art. Looking at it this way, RayTunes will finally get its first abstract soundtrack masterpiece.

(Wow, now I am kind of hyped to hear the final soundtrack.)
