Re: Smoke?
Sure, first time that I drank beer of wine I found that awful.

Re: Smoke?
It's also that I like the taste of some beers and spirits a lot, even if I don't drink enough to feel the alcohol.
Re: Smoke?
I got like that when I used to drink lager all the time where I just liked the taste of it. My aunt used to complain about those e cigarettes and say they're not the same though.

Re: Smoke?
They do help but they're quite different indeed.
Re: Smoke?
She used to literally say no and go buy a pack instead because that wasn't good enough for her.

Re: Smoke?
Well it would probably have been very hard.
Re: Smoke?
Some people have to want it. Some stay off the smokes for a year or more then one day they just buy a pack and smoke the lot. The person just has to not want to smoke themselves.
Re: Smoke?
Actually, people trying to make us stop usually make it worst, because we feel cornered so start smoking more. The Jonster wrote:I once tried gettin gmy dad to stpo smoking but ironically my mom stopped from doing so even though she was also against him smoking.

Is it "you can't tell me what to do, it's my choice" then you go off and smoke all stubbornLoveMetal wrote:Actually, people trying to make us stop usually make it worst, because we feel cornered so start smoking more. The Jonster wrote:I once tried gettin gmy dad to stpo smoking but ironically my mom stopped from doing so even though she was also against him smoking.

Re: Smoke?
Actually yeah, my boss was once chatting with me about alcohol and pointed out that the reason I don't like it may be that all the drinks I've tried so far are full of sulfites, which he personally can't stand. He recommended I try beer!

Re: Smoke?
Yeah, a couple of friends wanted to stop smoking at they succeeded for a few weeks but then some unfortunate event happened and it's like they never stopped now.
Re: Smoke?
That happened my aunt and uncle before, they had that unfortunate event and started smoking again after it.

Re: Smoke?
That happened with my parents tbh and it was because of my grandad and a family friend passing away.

Same story with my friends.Cairnie wrote:That happened with my parents tbh and it was because of my grandad and a family friend passing away.
Re: Smoke?
In their case it was my aunt's mother (not blood related to me hence the awkward name) passing away that caused them to smoke again.
Re: Smoke?
Bump for Record Day!
I don't believe you have these intense cravings after smoking for a few years. It's just not realistic. Maybe the next thing you should 'smoke' is your life, get it together and grow a pair.LoveMetal wrote:Actually, people trying to make us stop usually make it worst, because we feel cornered so start smoking more. The Jonster wrote:I once tried gettin gmy dad to stpo smoking but ironically my mom stopped from doing so even though she was also against him smoking.

I actually don't see the point between my post and your reply.
